what weapon do you hate the most ?

I like halo 4 but in MY opinion some weapons need to be buffed or just taken out of the loadouts.(cough) boltshot (cough)

Plasma Grenades are a power weapon, I don’t care what anyone says to the contrary. They are a one hit kill that is easily spammed at close range and they allow you to destroy vehicles.

They should have never been in loadouts. It annoys me when someone is about to die and lazily chucks a plasma grenade at my face to get a kill he didn’t deserve.

Next on the list is the Plasma Pistol. You don’t spawn with vehicles, why should you spawn with counters to them? You can already destroy them just by spamming your weapon at them, you don’t need to be able to disable and mount/grenade them as well.

Finally, the DMR. Ignoring the damage, this weapon beats every weapon at every range just for the fact it’s so easy to use. Even a Lightrifle user is disadvantaged because of the aim assist on the DMR.

There are quite a few I hate, mostly because I’m horrible at using them, not that they aren’t a good addition to the game.

Boltshot, Storm Rifle, Pulse Grenade.

I can see where the guy is coming from on the whole plasma grenade situation. Since in Reach we had the ability to take the stickys off of ourselves using Armor lock and no longer being able to, it feels like when we get stuck, there’s nothing you can do about it except take it. But compared to vehicles, its super weak.

Boltshot is my bane. Even though I use it alot, I try to counter others using the boltshot. I want to get into using the magnum, but know I’m at a disadvantage if I ever come across a guy with a boltshot.

Pulse Grenade, such a useless -Yoink-.

One does not use the Pulse Grenade to kill people.

One uses it to strip their shields almost instantly, allowing for an easy follow up of bullets.

You have much to learn.

The big red ball of destruction.F U! incinerater cannon.

  1. Needler. It’s acceptable in MP since it’s rare but in the campaign, any Grunt or Jackal with it is a major threat. That’s just not right, giving mooks such a powerful ability. Also, it’s not fun to use and it’s mostly pointless since noob combo still supersedes it.

  2. Incineration Cannon. The splash damage is more useful for the Knights than it is for me. That said, Knights wielding it must always be taken down carefully. The lack of frenetic fighting is just sickening. Lastly, Knight Lancers + Incineration Cannon = annoying (only occurs in Spartan Ops thankfully).

  3. Fuel Rod Gun. 2 words. Blast radius. That’s the only reason why Hunters are a ranged threat. Also, it’s underpowered against Grunts and Jackals even on Easy! It’s kinda funny how Grunts and Jackals can take dozens of them while Elites can only take 1 or 2…

My main issue really is how overpowered/dangerous the mooks are compared to their leadership. Really, Knights and Elites are pretty damn easy if you assassinate/noob combo/stick/pulse grenade/railgun them.

This has been a gripe of mine no matter what Halo game it is. The fact that fuel rod guns just cause them to bounce around as if nothing happened is ridiculous.
