What we need for Halo 5 (This is to help 343)

Alright guys, 343 did a wonderful job adding in everything EVERYONE WANTED into Halo from various popular shooters. I mean seriously job well done. BUT, I thought I’d give them a list of things we totally wan’t to happen in Halo 5, I mean why not it’s in the other games 343 took ideas from so lets make it Halo!.

  1. Pelican Ordnance
I mean what kind of killstreak would be perfect without being able to call your own aerial vehicle in that the AI control to shoot at members of the opposing team. It would be so good for those small maps like Complex and for those Big Team maps coming in for the Crimson Map Pack. Hell it would even help balance the gameplay on the “Miniture” Map, Haven.

  2. Hunternaut
Overshield just isn’t enough anymore. Why not give us something like a Killstreak where we can wear Hunter armor and have bonus health that takes at least double the amount of shots as normal to kill us AND it reheals overtime. Totally Halo. Make it happen 343.

  3. Promethean Sights
Picture Red Dot sights, but Halo! Thats exactly what I’m going for here with this idea.

  4. “Give the Covenant back their bomb”
So why does another popular shooter have a method to just end the game if someone is doing REALLY REALLY good and not camping but Halo doesnt? Why not if after getting a certain spree of kills I can call in Master Chief to drop in the bomb and my team immediately wins? Sounds Halo enough for me.

  5. Going Prone
Look, crouching just isnt enough anymore. Sometimes they still get me while I have my Active Camo on and I’m “tactically positioned” with a Sniper Rifle. I think we need to be able to lay down prone, that way theres a slim chance of this happening and on top of that us Camo Snipers have an easier time on a lot of maps.

  6. Remake Overgrown
Seriously this is the best map out of the series, why wasn’t it remade yet?

I don’t have much time to keep adding more right now but this isn’t seriously what I think should be added to the game, but more of what it seems like what’s going to happen in Halo 5 if things keep up. So have fun and post more things you think I should add to the list! Don’t forget to make it Halo!

P.S. I am not being serious at all, please do not actually make these changes.

-300/10

for the love of the halo series, do not do that.

all you suggestions basically make CoD with a different face, that being the halo universe. i play halo because it is different from CoD, i would be seriously dissapointed if they took your direction.

please tell me your joking, and this is a troll because this is just rediculous.

No more pressing buttons and better missions objectives.

Bigger campaign sandbox.

If promethians are in the game make them react to getting shot.

(Just noticed he was trolling

atleast you’ve given some interesting suggestions

While this is obviously a joke, Im actually curious about halo 5 multiplayer. They ve kind of dug themseles into a hole especially with weapons. Like what possible new loadout weapons could there be? Think about.

true, i guess it is at a point that if they do go further into say customization on weapon loadouts, they’re basically looking at a CoD like experience. to be honest, i dont mind where it is at, at the moment and would not mind if it stayed like it for the next halo.

lol

This was completely meant to be a joke. Please 343 do not take these suggestions seriously.

In all honesty, I really wouldn’t be surprised if we had things like MAC rounds, carpet bombs and pelicans as killstreaks in H5.

Even if you were joking, these might still be good ideas. The FPS genre is evolving and your ideas might be a step in the right direction. Imagine if Activision teamed up with 343, they could make the ultimate futuristic military FPS.^^

Here are 7 ideas I came up with for ordnance drops/requests:

1.Deploy a remote-controlled 50 cal. Turret.

2.Summon 2 Promethean crawlers that hunt down and attack nearby enemy players.

3.Call in 3 fast-moving Broadswords that fly by and carpet-bomb a small strip of the map.

4.Call in a slow-moving Longsword that bombs a significant portion of the map, but remains undetected on enemy radar.

5.Call in 5 slow-moving Hornets in-formation that make 3 passes in 2 directions (forward , back, then forward again) and shoot exposed enemies, but are susceptible to enemy fire.

6.Take control of Falcon’s turret as it circles above and around the map for 30 to 60 seconds, which is susceptible to enemy fire.

7.Take control of a Mac Gun that can view the entire map from above and shoot down multiple explosive rounds that have a wide blast radius.

Note: Some ordnance drops will only work on certain levels, so that might be good for variety and will motivate people to try different maps and take advantage of all the available drops.^^

To conclude, remember that good design evolves, not revolves gameplay. It’s all about change, so we should embrace it, right? What do you guys think? Good ideas? I want to hear your opinions! =3

no.

SSSTAAAAHHHHHPPP!!! they might actually do it!!!

They’ve probably already planned this for Halo 5 long ago so it might be too late, sorry. :frowning:

You still want to hear my other ideas?

Imagine a new mode where you have to:

  1. Make your way to different locations
  2. Activate switches to move closer to the safe zone
  3. While being chased by waves and waves of Flood
  4. Flood combat forms upgrade and become more numerous the higher the level you survive
  5. You get credits by killing flood and building fortifications
  6. Which you can use to buy weapons or ordnance drops…

;D

No +1,000,000,000,0000,000,000

Just to be clear:

343, please ignore all of my previous suggestions. Pretend I never said anything.

So, please don’t take this seriously.

You guys should focus on fixing Halo 4 instead!^^

Why are you talking about what Halo 5 needs when Halo 4 isn’t even an MONTH old???
