Assuming that you have seen Halo Infinity’s E3 Teaser, and read 343’s post on the game, you should know what the game will look like, to an extent. 343 said that they are still working on the game to make sure it’s just right. What would you like to see in Halo Infinite?
Well, it’s been confirmed that there will be split screen in Halo infinite. And the story is based around Chief taking place at the end of 5. But for me, I really want to see the armor customization different from Halo 5. I don’t like that there is like 3 different variants of one set of armor with white lines/lines all over the gear that we can’t even change the color of. I would also like to see flyable pelicans
I hope to see more of the Chief, he was in Guardians for only a few mssions.

You will

> The team also heard feedback loud and clear on the amount of time spent playing as the Master Chief in Halo 5. In Halo Infinite, the game will focus on the Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5.
custom armour colouring and an armour customization kind of like halo 3 or halo reach without buying it.

It would certainly be nice not having to rely on random chance in order to get the armour you want.
I want so many things, but this promise to refocus the story on Chief has me VERY pleased. And a beautiful new art style that has really seemed to capture that ‘Halo’ feel - contrasting the arching landscape of vaguely familiar yet alien terrain with the chunky military sci fi tech. A sense of mystery and hint of nostalgia.
There’s also been some other things said which needlessly worry me, stuff about taking the series in a new direction:
“We will have some new and unexpected directions to take folks in” (Our Journey Begins)
Could just mean so many things, and as the speculation roils I will be holding onto hope that we just get a solid, classically inspired Halo FPS.

Im sure it says it some where that the game is an fps, but just gona throw this out there, going on the trailer alone the game could be a third person shooter… just saying

True but the latest 'Our Journey Begins" Waypoint comes comes from
> I’m incredibly proud of what the 343 Industries development team has done with the Slipspace Engine and this first tease of Halo Infinite, and I look forward to sharing more with you all in the future once we are ready. Thank you all for your support and passion for Halo. This is an exciting moment for all of us, and we look forward to embarking on this journey together!

What a travesty moving to third person would be!

I know what you mean, but I am a realist in today’s gaming industry. The games are getting bigger in scope with a lot more people working on them. And this costs money.
Studios need to make money somehow, and charging money for customization is A.O.K. with me - with one requirement:
The Halo franchise has mostly done a great job of not charging us money for gameplay add-on content like so many other franchises do. (HW and some MP maps being exceptions).
If 343 wants to charge for customization but still give us free gameplay content, I’ll be forever happy.
I like what I see already as far as art style but I still would like to see 343 experiment with the game. if they absolutely need to have some kind of dlc or microtransactions then I suggest to try one of two things.
- stick to dlc that provides actual content like mini campaigns, maybe map packs or maybe even special ai based game modes that would be like a larger scale version of spartan ops. some mini campaigns might be played from other perspectives just to spice up the game a little. map packs and special skins would also work.
- have a hybrid point/rank based system for earning armor and other customization stuff and have the option to buy points with money. however if reqs stay then maybe have two kinds of points, one for req packs and one for customization. and req pack points can’t be bought, only earned, but keep it relatively easy to earn those specific kind of points.
If I had to choose between the two, I’d definitely go with the first one but I understand that requires more work.
Id love the halo reach level of customization (and the haunted helmet) along with loads of vehicles and weapons. maybe a just cause 3 thing (don’t get mad that’s just where I saw that kind of thing last) where we have to liberate covenant bases? another great idea would be capturing and/or converting covenant units.
EDIT: I don’t have good internet where I live so I play alone usually or with my friends splitscreen. being able to set up bots like in COD would be great, and 4-way splitscreen as well.
Please give us a ranking system that’s not broken!! H3 ranking system with an added feature that bans quitters and afkers. None of the 10 games to get a level like in the MCC either. Halo reach’s ranking system wasn’t bad either really.
I want: 20+ mission campaign that’ll take about days to complete, dual-wielding, Brutes to return, Arbiter to be playable again, Reach’s multiplayer ranking system, playable elites with their own unique assassinations like what they did in Halo 5 Guardians, massive Forge open spaces, animated weapon camos, the ability to customize your Spartan’s under suit and option to have him/her wear a helmet or not, more detailed armor customization, a 1-month beta, and meaningful dlcs that gives us campaign expansions or more multiplayer maps

So, developers and publishers aren’t making enough money to cover the development cost and the even larger marketing cost from the sales of the base game, rarer editions, merchandise and promotions?
If I’m not mistaken, Witcher 3 didn’t feature MTs and lootboxes, yet it made the money back even before the first DLC. Was there even a season pass?
Perhaps instead of trying to shake every last penny out of the consumer with anti-consumer practices, companies should scale budgets back if they don’t think the investment will yield larger returns? And make the games good enough for them to sell well on their own merit?

id be fine with halo reach falcons those looked nice.
speak for everyone when we say we want more customization.
Id imagine its gonna happen but i mean i felt like it took a step back since reach. So many limitations and on new gen consoles youd think itd be better the second time around.
Installation 01’s sneak peak at customization showcases some crazy detailed customization options from lighting to inner armor color and patterns. (not a 343i game im aware but none the less its pretty damn cool.)
WHAT I WANT:
I want to see Recon again and not in halo 4-5s way either. If it not be Recon be a armor unlock that has meaning behind it. A story. A rarity. Recon was legit a REASON i played halo. If im able to sit down and play a game just for the sole purpose of seeing a digital design on my screen and hope to one day earn it myself THATS the magic of the game. It made me want more, it made me want to play more, made me want to grind and grind and grind till i had it.
I want to basically see armor really earned and not just bought out or randomly dropped from REQs. Vidmaster achievements for christ sakes you guys remember those ? I want armor that gives me the ability to show off and brag. Even if it isnt recon. Just something that will truly give me a real meaning to play other than linear leveling.
I want a huge step away from Halo 5. I thought it was too cartoony and over the top like an action movie. I hope it goes back to a more serious scifi horror type story like CE was, also with an M rating.
I hope the multiplayer plays more closesly to Halo 2. Sprint ruins the game for me because they have to build maps to compensate for it and, in my opinion, makes the maps a lot worse.
Flood
Brutes
Chopper
Hornet
Revenant
Brute shot
Spiker
Drones
Rtas vadum
Admiral hood
Spirit of fire and her crew
The trailer for Halo Infinite looked beautiful, but the gameplay matters more than the graphics. I just hope to see a Player ranking system and player customization similar to Halo Reach. Not only that, but the return of classic vehicles like the Prowler, Chopper, Spectre, Hornet, etc. I also hope that Playable elites, Dual Wielding, and classic weapons like the Brute Shot return in Halo Infinite. I also hope that Halo Infinite’s Forge mode is 10 times better than Halo 5’s Forge (I don’t hate Halo 5’s Forge, I just hope Halo Infinite’s Forge is bigger and better than Halo 5’s Forge) I also wonder if the Chief is going to visit other locations besides Zeta Halo (Installation 07), like Reach, or Earth, or the Ark because the games always puts the players in multiple locations (For example: Halo 3 took the player to Earth, then the Ark, and then to a Halo Ring.) I also hope to see bigger drive-able vehicles like a Pelican or Phantom (or both) and to have another space mission like Halo Reach’s “Long Night of Solace.” I have very high hopes for this game and I hope it surpasses Halo 5 in every single way, I want Halo Infinite to be 343’s redemption.
