what we know-not complaining

I don’t care how much info we have now im making this thread to try and see what we know so far and trying to build halo 4’s background so ? how much do we know?

There is a Forerunner sphere. Chief is heading towards it.

That’s it.

true true

Cortana is present at the beginning of the game.

I mean, there are concepts from the books that might influence Halo 4, but with no defintive timelines between them all, it’s all speculation.

major possibility of UNSC infinity With possible spartan IVs, the possibility of mark VII armor, Forerunner weapons, and the return of the AR

Edit: Cortan and chief will be heavily focused on and developed in there relationship(non sexual)

That’s common sense dude.

How is it common since hes on half of a ship of which there is no definitive info on weather he will stay on that ship. there is no proof. as for any other weapon it would also be common since that he keeps the halo 3 pistol and shot gun and sniper along with BR but that’s not all proven to stop being a totally trolling telling me what I’m saying is common since So me proof that the AR is definitely int he game and then i will say yes that’s common since

Oh gee, maybe because he put an AR right next to his cryo-pod. I swear you overanaylize evertyhing.

Used in halo 3 not halo for if he had it then why wouldn’t he have used it in the trailer i understand it not canon but obviously things have changed its only common since if there proof and prior games don’t count right know halo had AR not halo 2 did not understand oh thank you

with the infinity and spartan 4’s and stuff im a bit confuzed

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner folks. Seriously dude, it’s not that hard to get.

Infinity was shown as part of the concept art at halo fest on a a panel where there was writing stating new ships and vehicles would be in the game. And it is also from glasslands which was a ship that was almost 100% forerunner tech that was crewed by a plethora of Spartan IV which are made up of older spartan II and III as well as volunteers Naomi was drafted by Osman to volunteer for spartan IV and was given Mark VII armor.

Do you have to be negative about everything? The fact that the AR in there is a nice fact they could of taken it out like they did in halo 2. How can something be common sense when we know barely anything about the game.

>

Wouldn’t make sense if they did, that Chief was stocked with ARs and he has an AR right next to him. I swear, unless this community is explictly told something, they have to overthink eveyrhting. Probably the same reason people think Noble Six is alive.

I think you need to stratify all this information into different tiers of probability and include the evidence required for each tier. For example:

Tier 1: definitely in the game (confirmed by 343 Industries)
Tier 2: probably in the game (alluded to by 343 Industries)
Tier 3: might be in the game (fan speculation based on reasonable arguments)
Tier 4: might be in the game (fan speculation without a reasonable justification)
Tier 5: probably not in the game (negative allusions made by 343 Industries)
Tier 6: definitely not in the game (denied by 343 Industries)

I understand that not hard to get but there is no definitive proof that that AR will be in the game other then speculation. And by that reasoning the whole halo 3 lineup, but that would be arrogant to assume. And being arrogant about it does not suit you very well there is no reasonable reason to be so hostile. The only prof it the McFarlane toys show by 343 with the AR but that’s the only proof. Plenty of time will have passed since halo 4 but we just don’t know yet.

Common sense dude. I’d love to see 343 reason that even though Chief placed an AR right by his pod, it and every other AR mysteriously vanishes, but brand new grenade pistols just pop up.

its not over thinking its logical because it would be arrogant, to just assume anything at this point.

Logical to assume that even though he put an AR right next to him and that the toys show him with an AR, all of the ARs just disappeared? Really?
