What we expect with post golden age games

I remember when I didn’t have to worry about a game coming out incomplete, and if anything was added it was new cooler stuff. Now it seems like we just have to get used to games being broken for a couple years till it’s up and running at its full potential. I mean look at this game, trash anti cheat, desync and shot registration issues, vehicles too weak and not properly balanced, lack of game modes, forge and co-op delay, micro transactions that’d offend even a Chinese bargain shop owner, no team collision (what most people want), small radar (most people want the 25m back as seen in poll), theater is buggy, etc. the list just goes on. This game plays well, but it’s incomplete, and this isn’t because it’s a “beta” make no mistake not much is gonna change from this iteration on Dec. 8th. I can’t even play anymore because I don’t want my fun experience in this game to be tainted by hackers. None of these things were ever issues before, I guess it’s just what we have to learn to expect in modern day games. I wish I had known how lucky I was when I was younger, I took the fact that a game worked right out of the box for granted. Now a AAA game company struggles to deliver in quality, and this isn’t entirely 343’s fault I know. They’re probably just about as upset about this as I am, but unfortunately for them the higher ups want to treat their consumers like garbage and milk us for all we’re worth. With all that said, make sure your voices are heard and in about a year maybe we’ll have a good game, and stop spending money on their horrible system, don’t encourage this type of behavior, people vote with their money and I don’t want for the idiots that came up with this system to say “see look at the results. We’re making so much money.” Anyways that’s my rant/take on where we’re at.
