My hype was gone with the vidoc, and it is labeled at the begining “its subject to change” ,and i didn’t like the SPARTAN IV Model, seriously, the helmet is so ugly, but MC armors look so nice and i love that that the BR is back with some asthethical changes, the sound is overall seems powerful and realistic, but i didn’t undestand the “perks” (the media called it like that) part, but anyways, what was your first impression?
I loved everything about it!
Perks were never mentioned by Frankie to be implemented in Halo 4.

Things are calming down now, and rational discussions should actually be possible tomorrow. Overall I really like the music, and the semi japanese art style.

I’ve watched it 4 times now (A little much lol) and i still love it.
The first time was amazing though, of course i had my worries.
Just so you know, Frank has said that there will be no “perks”.
And as for the ugly Spartan helmet, i guess its good they’ll be customizable huh?
I hate the GUNGNIR (or the box helmet one), so i dont wear it, but when i see it, i dont really care too much.

Did I like the ViDoc? Yes. Aside from the sprint it seemed very promising. Did I like what press told about the game that wasn’t shown in the ViDoc? Absolutely not.
I’ve been looking forward to this game since 4 years before it’s official announcement (2007, after I beat Halo3). I’ve been looking forward to seeing some gameplay since E3 last year, and even though I had to wait 8 months to see it, I wasn’t disappointed.
The 2 maps we saw looked awesome, and I was super thrilled to hear all maps would be built strictly for MP, not taken from campaign missions. I was also stoked to see the BR make a return, as I’m sure 99% of all people on this forum were. Even in it’s pre-alpha stage, the graphics are shaping up nicely, and I honestly like the way the new Spartan models are looking. I know a lot of people don’t like the helmet, but I’m 99.99% sure that won’t be the only helmet in the game…
The ViDoc only got me more excited to see and play more Halo later this year.

i read on 1up that text pops up saying Headshot when you kill guys like COD, if true, that’s disappointing. Halo is so fun because it isn’t COD.
Love the new chief looking good, like the colors, the lighting. Bringing back the BR great idea looks clunky but it’ll do ( till I play swat and don’t get HOST).
The spartans IV looked fxxxing ugly GET RID OFF them may be not so much the armor but
The Helmets have to go. I understand it’s default but it just ugly.
