What was the first Halo game you played or at least the first one that got you invested in Halo? Also what is it that you want in an ideal Halo game because I honestly can’t tell what the community wants anymore.
I’m curious to see if there is any correlation between which game got people interested in the series and what they want out of future games.

I want a Halo game without sprinting, clamber, ADS, or abilities.
I started with Combat Evolved in 2001. Honestly, with the horrible decisions made in Halo 5’s story, I just want the main series to end sooner rather than later. I don’t know how the choices made in the story can ever be reconciled.
Started with C.E. I think a C.E. campaign and H5 multiplayer would be good. Also no more lagging & disconnects!
Started with and still my all time favorite is halo reach. I would want more options in arena thats permanent, like the drop down menu bungie did for halo reach. ex. multi team and 5 team objective. I just don’t like ground pounds or spartan charges. I think those should be eliminated xD. And maybe matches that have no special abilities. Thats just my opinion lol.
CE vet. For gun and motion mechanics my happy place is Halo 4, for game modes it’s somewhere between Reach Firefight, Spartan Ops, and Warzone. The only things that I no longer have any use for are the classic Halos. They were just fine until something better came along, and everything since has been better from my perspective.
