Mine first match seemed difficult as I had get familiar with the controls because I used ground pound thinking I could fly but I was killed in the process. I also thought Spartan charge was the thruster pack from H4 and used it as swift evade a sniper shot but I knocked my teammate off the map.
Now I’m a level 35 and still trying improve my skills. My friends use to call me “warrior” back in H4 but now they call me “The Noob On The Team” until I show some improvement :’)
I hauled -Yoink- and beat down noobs since I played the beta but now I’m a rusty scrub

To add insult to injury I used to fluctuate between diamond and high platinum but now I just barely get plat by the skin of my teeth.
My first match was against David Ellis in the beta. That was fun!
Then my second match was against Ninja. That was considerably less fun.
I have no idea what my first match was like. I think it was on coliseum. I think my team won.
Hmm. If I remember right, my first match was on Eden a game of slayer. My team lost, but it was a fair game and surprisingly, I went positive on my K/D in my first match.
Unnecessary info: First game happen on 31st December 2015.
It was SWAT. I did pretty good, but I had played a good amount of Campaign so I kind of knew how to play.

Remember our first game in H5 proper? With Mango and Cheese on Orion? Where 15 seconds into the game we had the “-Yoink- corner” call-out? And that stupid damage boost?
That was great.
I dunno, it was ok I guess. Apparently not memorable, since I can’t remember it at all. It was the first time that I ever played a match of multiplayer before finishing a Halo campaign before.

That stupid damage boost was the best.
I first played H5 on my friend’s Xbox One. (At the time, I still played Halo 4 on my 360) I got screwed, in both Warzone and Infection, which disturbed me, because my H4 K/D was 1.3-something.
I got my own Xbox One just after the WZFF Update was released. My first game then was a round of WZFF; my playing was fairly mediocre. I did well enough, for a noob adjusting to a -yoink- motion tracker and H5’s terrible field of view that is.

I used to hate that map, and I still do, but I’m more focused on despising Truth right now. Truth is more overplayed than Maroon 5.
Can’t remember probably got owned 
I do not remember what my very very first match ever was like, must not have been very memorable. I do remember, though, that one of my placement matches in my first season, was lost 50-3 on The Rig. Good times.
(And IIRC, I actually had all 3 kills on my team. Probably because I was the only one left by the end.)
Beta, day one. I couldn’t kill anything. I couldn’t even hit anything. I thought something was seriously wrong. I figured out, about a week after the beta was over, that something was in fact wrong. I was hooked up to a new TV and A/V system and none of those devices were set to game mode. Lag, lag, LAG. Unplayable. Fast forward to launch day and I got the TV and the audio system pass-throughs optimized… to find out that I still suck. Poor, poor recon.
My first ranked game was slayer on the original Orion map. I got destroyed 1-19 or something like that haha!
It was a Doubles match. I didn’t get one kill. Whenever I saw another guy they would screw me over with a stronger gun.
Apparently it was a game of Warzone on launch day. My team won.
