I remember the first time I was hit with the ban hammer I was letting my friend play he selected slayer, he then started losing and quit, I was saying “what are you doing? don’t do that!” then I was banned. so what was the first time the ban hammer came down on you?
Ive never actually been hit by the ban hammer.
My first ban was one day when I was playing Warzone. I went AFK so I could go to the bathroom, and when I came back, I was out of the game and it said I was temporarily banned.
Halo Reach after I hit max rank, before they updated it and added more. Got banned once and didn’t play reach after that because I was disgusted by the ban hammer.
Lvl 98 and haven’t got banned in Halo 5… yet lol
(Been 98 for a while though I don’t play as much as I used to)
Teabagged a grunt, the guardians didn’t like that. Learned my lesson.

Didn’t get banned til Grifball dropped. I don’t believe that 343 has got that particular game types ban policy correct yet. Still hopeful.
Teabagged a 343 employee on accident, JK but bad connections got me banned twice.
Once, that new map tourqe is it, me being an idiot running all over the place making jumps i couldn’t cash. 3 suicides later i was kicked. Played another game which was assault, scored all 3 and was hit with the banhammer for griefing for 2 minutes 40 seconds or something like that. Thought that win didn’t count and was pissed but found out it was counted just kicked me soon as.
Banned for jtagging a Xbox 360 and having my martyrdom drop in MW2 being a predator missle.
Controller battery went dead and I was banned while afk searching for usb cable.
Couple of communication bans for responding to hate mail lol
On BTB I went to get in a Mantis a bunch of the players on my seemed to want it and started betraying me so I got mad and layed into the whole lot with the mantis and then BAM!!! Lol only time I have ever been baned.
Never been banned but was kicked out for putting my controller down for less than a minute to put some milk in my tea, kicked out due to inactivity, Wound me up big time

Mine was WZ AFK. I was trying to settle my youngest. My own fault. Forgot to back out of a lobby in time as she was stirring. Entered the game but she was up. AFK kicked. And settled her. Thought to myself “Hoorah! I’ll dive back in to WZ!” … a few mins later I have my hysterical 20 month old squealling. So again AFK… trying to settle her. Turned my tv screen off. Knew id be booted as it took just over 10mins to settle her. And to my shock I turned on my TV to see “The Banhammer Strikes” … wasn’t expecting it to strike THAT fast lol.
I’ve never been banned. I’ve only quit 2 games ever and that was because I was lagging so bad and I was getting pissed because I couldn’t see anything.
Haven’t been banned in halo 5 yet, but back in 3 when I was an idiot I thought it would be a good idea to boost, I forgot what it was for, probably achievements. Anyways eventually I had the brilliant idea of letting one person get all the kills to end the game quickly. Needless to say it didn’t take to long before everyone started getting popped off 
Learned my lesson after that and boosted the right way 
okay maybe not, but I haven’t been banned since.
When I had a crappy Internet Connection, I was constantly being kicked out of the Halo 4 matches because of the lag…and it was considered a quitting for 1 hour
