For me it was when i stuck myself with a plasma grenade and ran into a group covenant.I laughed for at least 10 minutes, because i actually didn’t even think of what happens to me when the grenade went off.I just thought of what it would do to the enemy.
By Grunt moment i refer to something you did in either the campaign or multiplayer that resembled an action of a grunt that you thought was absolutely funny.
Hmm, when I was a little kid and wanted to play Halo 2, but my father did not want me to play it so he tried to give me a trauma and made me play Quarantine Zone as first -_-
I got scared and started running away in fear from the freaking horde of Flood behind me…

Actually that only caused me not playing Halo for from 2005 until 2010 -_-
And yeah, he had a nice LOL time for a while. Now I have tried all the Halos, my opinions on the Flood are:
HCE: “You are freaking invincible and infinite! Go away!”
H2: “You still scare me for what my father did”
H3: “Is this the Flood or just some fecal matter somebody left lying around?”
I just wish the H3 Flood were scary. It would have made the game a lot better than it is.
When in H3 I beat down a bunch of grunts with the Gravity Hammer, and the last covered his face with his arms, so I waited for him to do something, then a mere few seconds later he started shooting at me, so then I smacked him, and he went flying while yelling like, well, a grunt.
First Grunt Moment i had, was definitely an accidentally Plasma Stick…i ended up going towards the opposing team and got a nice triple kill, lol.
My sister had one, but I didn’t. She tried to stick me in Halo CE, but when I moved to dodge, she somehow stuck herself. I have no idea how.
The first time I discovered they speak English, which I hope is brought back. At any rate, at least subtitles are available in cutscenes.

Gotta be when I was playing Co-op with a friend. I tossed a plasma grenade through a Gravity Lift and got sniped instantly after. As soon as I spawned, guess who got stuck? This guy. D:
My friend was hiding inside a bubble shield, and as I ran through the outer layer I threw a spike grenade too early which stuck to my own face. At the same exact moment he stuck me with a plasma grenade while backing out the other side, and just watched me blow up inside the shield from both.
one time a I killed all grunts in one area except one I chased him around and the grunt said “please don’t kill me” and stuff like that (on H3)
playing halo 3 on heroic the other night and while killing a bunch of conve soldiers a marine yelled “damn, hes on a killing frenzy!”
