I don’t understand why Infinite couldn’t have used the system MCC is using for challenges or even the battle pass.
Because there was no money to be made in it. And that’s what Microsoft wants, money. I kind of wish we had the same system as MCC though.
They could have easily monetized MCCs system.
It’s simple logic really.
They used the players weakness with all their advertising, hype, and false promises to make them feel they were “getting a deal” and what it all boils down to is they were only concerned about getting into the players wallet.
The CM literally put that in plain sight that you would literally have to be blind not to see it. 343 does not care about the player base, and when I say 343, I mean the jerks that run the company, not the devs that do the work that care about the game.
This means they sat there in their board meetings and planned out how to manipulate the players that let their weaknesses get the best of them.
It was not set up for a free to play. Mcc had been out for years by the time that stuff came in. This game just dropped. They clearly took stuff out of the battlepass to bandage the fact there wasnt enough content created for the store. I bet next battle pass will be lit
Yep and that kind of backfired once people started playing since it showed 343i mislead fans and lead to more trust issues and the lack of content will eventually hurt the game even further. The scary part is the people trying to defend the nonsense that 343i have done.
They don’t care about the players, they care about the money.
They like taking the wheel, ‘returning it to its roots’, and then selling it for jacked up prices.
Nothing was wrong with the MCC’s system, it just need some good old fashioned reimagination for some unfathomable reason.
The players that defend bad business practices remind me of the players that blamed everything on Activision when it comes to Destiny.
They had all this false hope that Bungie was going to significantly improve the game. Well, they got a rude awakening when Activision left because things only got worse since then.
