When i loaded up halo 4 i got an update, i wonder what was this update for? What does this new update provide for halo 4?

No, the X was white and didn’t show up on the screen for very long. It also followed the corpse making it a little more frustrating to see where the death actually was.
They added the red X now? Aww, I missed it! I’m sitting here in Nuremberg, learning about European history, when I should be ripping into noobs with my BR!

About an hour ago, a secret patch went live for Halo 4. I’m not sure exactly what was changed, but what I do know is this…The patch creates a bold Red X when your teammates die.
Pre Patch X: white, thin, follows dead bodies, lasts for 1.5 seconds
NEW Patched X: Red, Bold, stays where the player was killed, lasts for 5 seconds

I’m REALLY glad this was fixed.
What I WOULD like to know is WHO proposed the original idea of a WHITE X and have it move with the body? And WHY they thought it was a good idea?
