We all love 343’s Halo games, what they did, their accomplishments, everything. But what about Bungie’s games? If it wasn’t for Bungie, I wouldn’t be sitting here, typing all of this down and waste yall’s time. We wouldn’t have MCC. We wouldn’t have 5. We wouldn’t even see Infinite on the shelves of GameStop or Walmart when it comes out. But let’s look back on what Bungie did and please, tell me what was your favourite Halo!
Halo 3 is my favourite from the Bungie era. It gave us Theatre Mode, Forge Mode, and endless memories of playing Custom Games with friends.
Guess I will have to go with the one that introduced me to the Halo series which is Halo 3. Although I like ODST more for the atmosphere I have more memories of Halo 3.
Halo 3 was my first shooter, and it remains my favorite. I can trace so many memories back to that game, it makes me feel warm inside remembering them 
Reach or 3 The amazing campaign and awesome multiplayer.
3 or 2. 2 because the new mechanics, and 3 because it was a good finale.

I clearly think that the best Bungie game is Halo 3, besides that it was the first game that I approached this saga and the Xbox console
it’d have to be halo 2 for me, something that included raw guitar, an introduction to skulls and an extremely good basis on how a game should be producer (while it’s being rushed) is a good example of how 2 companies can come together and make history in gaming
A tie between Reach and 2
Halo 2 for its story. Halo Reach for its multiplayer. Also I don’t agree with your first sentence.
Halo 2 for campaign, Halo 3 for mp, Reach for customs.
ODST. Something about the way they made it that really stood out a bit more above the rest. Not saying the other titles weren’t great.
Reach. It’s the least dated.
my favorite was reach, i played so much of that game, i was terrible at the multiplayer (Still am) but couldnt stay away from it (plus being bad made very kill more satisfying)
Halo 2 > Halo 3 = CE > Reach
Halo 3 was a fantastic game, but I think the series peaked at 2. The gameplay, soundtrack, and story were best in 2 IMO. I also prefer Michael Wincott as Truth
My personal favorite will have to be Halo Reach. But objectively speaking Halo 2 was probably their prize game. It’s what sparked the Halo franchise to what it is today and not to mention Xbox itself. This was the first real game that Xbox Live blew up and became so popular. Halo 3 is just Halo 2 but more optimized. But Halo 2 is what started all of this.
I play Halo Odst for the first time when i was like 5 or 4 year old boi.
and now im 12, and now i can feel Halo Odst for the fullest, because i am more mature now.
And Halo Odst is my first game, other than later reach , halo CE, then 4.
Halo ODST can give you such a big atmosphere, like bro, it is so calming, and sometimes the song like entered my nerves. Halo odst, the best, other than halo reach
