Hello there,
I love Halo 5 and it’s vs mode like We or arena, but I am not a very skilled player, I play lot’s of game but more as casual than trying to be the best at one 
And I always have hard time on Halo even if I love it.
I played a lot on wz a year ago but got farmed so many time hehe.
About arena, I like them but never now which game mode to choose.
I mostly play alone or with 1 or 2 friends max when I join competitive games.
Do you have any suggestions?

Warzone has changed a bit since last year. There’s warzone firefight which is a great casual mode.
From arena I would recommend swat, infection, action sack, or super fiesta
If you’re mostly a casual Player, I would recommend playing these Gamemodes
I was going to recommend Team Skirmish, but there is a high chance of facing Very skilled Players (Stay on ranked for the love of god)

About WZ I love the co-op mode and used to like the WZ pvp but I was so bad at it like never able to reach the ranking that allow me to pop a nice weapon / vehicle

I agree with the exception of BTB because there´s quite a bit of farming going on in there with full fireteams. And Skirmish like you say is the same, full fireteams or near full of high ranked players who go into social to mess around and farm lower level casuals.

I just gave another try to WZ and still the same for me than a year ago.
The team who do the best start completely owns the other one coming with mecha, tanks and so on.
While I struggled in req lvl 3 dying in loop as soon as I pop or almost.
I feel this game mode is not balanced at all, and that is why I ended up with tons of weapons that I never had the chance to use.
Shame 
Will stick with WZ co-op and the modes you just told me, but very disapointed by the WZ pvp mode since launch.
Too much frustration.
The ranked SLAYER is kind of approachable as well as a casual… I enjoy it alot and I’m a filthy casual myself.
