Multiplayer was most likely in beta from the looks of it, the first person shots of the campaign were in either Alpha or Pre-Alpha, and the rest of the campaign shots we saw were likely in Alpha or Beta.
We saw the fake version, designed to deceive all you competitive types who’ve been senselessly demanding more BR’s and faster paced gameplay for years now. But in fact gameplay most involves bouncy castles and some place called “fun town”, or at least it would if there was any justice in this world.
Actually I believe a rolling build is in progress,
Most likely its rolling through a first build,
Then there will only be one more,
Development is changing with new technology.
If they are running a old build based development model the probably a alpha or pre-alpha phase.

Doesn’t really matter what you call it because the terms pre-alpha, alpha, and beta are not wholly connected to gameplay or graphics. You can’t say “at beta, the game is so-and-so close to its graphical completion”.
Ahhh that makes my day, just to know that all the little imperfections were just there because the game was incredibly incomplete. I can’t wait to see the final version, this game is going to be amazing, I’m sure of it.

i would assume all of is is Alpha, except the multiplayer.
