Thread title says all. Vehicles have been an integral part of Halo since CE. Personally, I’m hoping for the Chopper to return. Or maybe even the return of the Spectre.
What do you think should come back? (Other than the givens, like the warthogs, and the banshees)
All the different warthog variants that we’re supposed to be in Halo 2. Perhaps a different type of scorpion tank.

im not super keen on all the vehicles that weren’t in the games, but i would like a surface to air superiority vehicle. either a Gauss or missle that would be sure death to air but have nothing to fire on ground troops. would be cool for some normandy style custom maps ;D

I just thought of something. In the making of Halo 4 video they showed a clip of one of the maps. They even spoke of it on the podcast. It’s the map where a mech is being built in a hanger type room.
Could this mech be in the actual game?
It could just be for looks but just some food for thought.
You know, It would be awesome if they made a Spartan Ops mission where you need to pilot a Pelican with your friends, one in the gun, one piloting, and the rest shooting out the back door for their lives.

I am pretty sure in one of the bulletins they said the mech was not playable, but something much bigger would be. Elephant maybe? If there is a elephant we better be able to fill it with fusion coils on instant respawn and make it fly around the map.
That said I hope there is a proper flyable Pelican, not just an Easter Egg that doesn’t work very well. Maybe not in multiplayer but hopefully in campaign.

Yup.
Warthogs, Mongooses, and Scorpions are probably coming back. Perhaps the Hornet and/or Falcon will return. I’m not as sure about the Covenant vehicles, however. I hope the Ghost, Banshee, and Wraith come back, but it’s not certain. The fate of the Chopper, Spectre, Revenant and Prowler seem bleak, considering the Covenant aren’t playing a gigantic role in Halo 4 and we don’t even know if Brutes will make an appearance at all (besides, the Prowler was a -Yoink!-).
i’d like a map where the scarab walks around and you can use the cannon on its back. not sure if this qualifies as a vehicle though…

I would love to see the chopper again, it was one of my favorite vehicles 
It would be fun to see an updated and buffed version of the prowler, a vehicle so bad it was fun to use, a lol-mobile ^^

The prowler was useless for the most part. I only liked it’s stability.
Give me my Elephant so I can blow the horn on it for no reason
most of the halo wars vehicles and perhaps a flamethrower warthog or have the revanent with some sort of neederler turret
