This is how I think vehicles should be in Halo 4. The warthog should act heavier and should be a bit faster and the gunner should wreck infantry but have little effect on the tanks. The most annoying thing about vehicles in Halo is that if someone shoots a part of the vehicle it will sometimes do damage to your health even if the part they shot is nowhere near you. The ghost should shoot fast like in Halo 2. A BR and DMR should do absolutely nothing to a tank and I mean nothing and very little to a warthog. Snipers should also do nothing to a tank and have a medium effect on banshees and warthogs but less effect then on Reach. EMP effect should be reduced on vehicles because of the custom loadouts and plasma grenades should also do little effect to vehicles for the same reason.

So basically, you want vehicles to be overpowered and essentially indestructible, while making it nearly impossible to do damage to the spartan inside the vehicle.
i dont really agree but with the pp in loadouts (i know trackings down) the emp nade sticky detonater sprint etc vehicles are def need to be faster and stronger
i do agree that you should only take damage in a vehicle if your directly being shot or naded of course but you should be able to shoot lids off of the wraith and tank through windshields etc
my thoughts in a nutshell:
-warthog
-LAAG does good damage to infantry and aircraft, useless against Tanks
-Invunurable to small arms fire + sniper rifle, but the winsheild can be broken, giving you a shot at the driver
-One can notice the fuel tanks at the back of the warthog, this can be an exploitable weak point, i just hope that it doesn’t take a single shot to make it go boom
- one shot from most heavy weapons will detroy it: (SPlaser, Rocket)
-Guass cannon has slower rate of fire
-Rockets…meh
-Ghost
-Cannons are more accurate
-invulnerable to small arms fire + sniper rifle, but there is a weak point at the side of the vehicle that can destroy the vehicle with 1-2 shots
-1sk with heavy weapons
-Scorpion/Waith
-Invunurable to Small arms + sniper, but the driver’s cannopy can be shot off with a sniper rifle, and the back of the vehicle is a weak point, 1-2 shots to kill for a wraith, 2-4 shots for scorpion
-Scorpion has lower rate of fire
-Wraith has lower splash damage

Basically.
also imo with the hog if you stick it say in the back it should just kill the gunner stick on left side should only get driver right side only passanger direct stick in front of vehicle ( note in front not middle of the hood windshield ) should only do severe dammage not destroy
rocket should 1 hit destroy ghost and goose same with a stick
for hog should only 1 hit destroy if you hit engine aka front section windshield forward if it hits in the rear shoould do sever damage but not destroy
2 rockets for (note this doesnt mean 2 rockets to kill driver just to completly destroy vehicle )
sniper should dismantel medium vehicles (hog ghost falcon banshee )in mabye clip (4 shots) clip and a half (6 shots)
1 shot (2 or 3 for rifles pistols etc) for ghost fuel tank or whatever it is on left side
clip and a half to 2 clips for tank and wraith
Realistically all vehicles would have some form of weak-point that can be exploited, and as a vehicle takes more damage it would be easier to do more (as the armor is knocked off of a warthog, for example). I think that by shooting a vehicle in its weak point or where it has already taken a significant amount of damage you should be able to kill it much more quickly even with small arms, and that this should be true for every vehicle, nor only tanks. However they should also make it so that there are ways to defend those weak point by using the vehicle properly. This adds a slightly higher skill element, as a skilled driver would be harder to kill, but if the player fighting them is also skilled, they can still stop them.
I do think there needs to be a way to stop a vehicle with normal weapons though, to give a chance of a come-back should the enemy find a way to control the ordinance as well as the vehicles. Most of the time if this happens once it can be really hard to make a comeback. Not saying it should be easy, but it should at least be possible to do.
