Is the desync that bad. I swear with new events or when any time 343 tweak with this F##king game its buggy as hell.

I honestly feel like this game is getting worse!
It might be that I’m a grumpy auld Halo veteran but I honestly miss being back in 2007 coming home from work and booting up halo 3.
No bad lag with local play.
No crossplay.
No wasting time checking your connectivity, ping, Nat type, or if the servers are down.
No over competitive gamers thinking that every game has to be a sweat fest.
There was proximity chat and it was so fun.
There was an actual social experience with the lobbies.
There was fun gametypes and maps.
Things where better back then because it was simple.
343 why is this game so buggy and that you get the most simplest thing to get right and you make it so wrong.
The only thing that works fine with no problem at all is the store?
Weirdly enough I used to have a lot of issues with bloodshots in Halo 3. A ridiculously high amount.
I saw a streamer once (justin.tv big up) get two in one game and then spend the next ten minutes analysing them in theatre mode and complaining. I was thinking the whole time, “YOU ONLY HAD TWO”. I’d usually get at least two per game minimum, usually 1-2 per sniper ha. It was pants when you hit a really clean shot in a sniper battle then just get domed by a guy who is technically dead. That was playing using downstairs WiFi on my parents pretty weak internet.
For Halo Infinite I play on the fastest internet available in my country and I’ve genuinely had next to no problems most the time. I’ve had two nights where the game was super laggy and my internet was fine on Series X so I feel it must have been 343 server side but generally I have no issues. Said this in another topic, but I wonder if you need a minimum requirement to avoid these issues. Sucks because it seems players getting these issues have not had these issues at all in other games on the same internet so realistically it should be something 343 could do something about (if other games can handle it).
My fav thing about halo infinite is when I go to do a beast play and then the game desychs and isn’t actually where he’s showing up on the screen and I get teleported to a different area or level of the building I’m in
Maybe that’s directed at all of us as a group, we are the trolls of 343: making well thought out and constructive criticism to a game that feels like it was made in 2005
You were able to perfectly recall events from 15 years ago and apply them to now? That’s impressive! Hopefully you’re using your amazing memory and critical thinking skills in a benevolent field to help others instead of defending a poorly made game developed by one of the richest corporations in the world.
Well yeah, I played over 10,000 games of Halo 3 and had bloodshots in most games. Pretty memorable. I played the game almost every day. It hardly requires a good memory to remember something that I experienced frequently for about 5 years straight.
You’re very all or nothing aren’t you? I’m offering my experiences, while also criticising 343 yet it doesn’t fit your narrative so I’m somehow defending them? I have plenty of my own criticisms about the company and the game. Just because you see posts from me supporting or explaining things I’ve experienced doesn’t mean I see no wrong in what they do. I just have a different opinion or experience on the topic at hand.
