If you were a high ranking officer in the UNSC Navy and somehow had the choice to pick a ship to command, which one would you choose? It could be any UNSC ship from any time period. I’d probably go with the Marathon Class Heavy Cruiser because of it’s durability and firepower, or a Sahara Class Heavy Prowler because of its stealth capabilities, that are reinforced by a sizable armament for a Prowler.
I would probably choose something relatively small, but well-rounded. Perhaps a Paris-class frigate. A complement of vehicles, at least some amount of armaments, drop-pods. I’ve always been more interested in support/troop deployment than frontline ship-to-ship combat.
I’d chose something small. Cuz something like the infinity or an entire frigate might be to much for me to handle lol I’d be over whelmed
I like the idea of being in charge of a stealth cruiser like the Point of No Return. It gives you the stealth capabilities of a prowler, but the troop and equipment capacity of a cruiser. Best of both worlds.
I’d submit a custom design for a small ship with an oversized engine and multiple MAC guns. Perfect for sniping and slashing attacks.
The goal would be to do long-range ranger tactics inside occupied territory. Show up unexpected, make a mess of everything we can in 5 minutes, then disappear.

Forget the UNSC, I’d just make a deal with the Kig-Yar and buy a CCS-Battle Cruiser. Hook up a smart A.I. and upgrade its weapons and I am set.
Give me a Punic-class carrier.
I would go for either a Halcyon class or Autumn class cruiser

Someone’s overcompensating (joke) - at least it’s not Infinity though!
All about the small, fast and nimble classes for me. Halberd-class Destroyer probably biggest I’d go.

Ignoring my previous post. I would go with the Epoch-class heavy carrier personally.
Hmm… hard choice.
Perhaps a nice Phoenix-class. The outfitted variant, not the colony one.
Unrealistically, the Infinity-class, because it’s my favorite UNSC ship class of the lore.
Halberd Class Destroyer is good for me. It has a focus on ship-to-ship combat (with no fighter escort) yet can carry a small compliment of Marines and Pelicans for if ground teams or required
Not sure really maybe uhhhh… Idk honestly
Halberd-class destroyer seems to be a popular option, and tbh I’d choose that too, if it were up to me.
I’d want a smaller ship, cause I wouldn’t want to have to take care of a huge ship like the Infinity.
For a hero ship, it’s the a Strident class heavy frigate with all the post war upgrades with a crack team of ODSTs, Marines and single craft pilots for daring missions. For a capital ship either a Vindication class battleship or my creation, a Trafalgar class fleet carrier, successor to the Punic class. It brings the morale for the allies and a full can of whoop -Yoink!- for all who dare oppose it.
All of them jeje
