What type of Infection Gametype do you want in H5

The basic infection gametype with all the previous settings we’ve had and more. Where you can turn on flood skins for the infected if you want, and can give infected any weapons you want. Plus an option to have no weapon and just melee with your hand, as zombies would do and survivors might have to do. This is what we should have, and doesn’t even scrape the depth of what I’d like infection to become.

No weapon starts leaves the door open for some amazing gametype variations. Scavenger style games with Infection’s conversion aspect would make for a good survivor game. Hide and seek games could be all the more torturous. Foot race/chase maybe. Too many ideas come to mind.

Plague was a awesome mod. Basically if yo get infected you will slowly start to turn into the flood you’ll eventually lose movement speed as well. But if your team member gets to you they can stop you from getting infected.

Oh and in plague as the flood you can choose out of three different flood forms:

  1. Fast but weak
  2. Regular speed and health
  3. Slow bullet sponge

They made for good teamwork and different tactics when attacking as the flood.

I also really enjoyed Hivemind and last stand, they are my favorites.

Hive mind and last stand- are similar to each other if I remember correctly but I think in last stand you can’t jump.

As a survivor you start with a AR and pistol, and they had weapons that would spawn around the map.

It took two sword swings to take out a survivor, survivors could also regain their health but it took a long time.

It was also more difficult to take out the flood without your team, usless you picked up a shotgun or power weapon.

The maps were set up more like cod zombie maps instead of your basic slayer map, they were very fun in my opinion.

I have made post’s about the option to start with no weapons, I would love the option for custom game’s.

Flood style gametype but with slightly reduced thrusters that H4 had. Or no thrusters at all for the flood and just higher jumps and speed than the spartans.

all those choices with the flood style from H4

I’d like to see almost all previous mods return as default settings. Size modding of objects and vehicles, spawn/despawn options for objects, capture/zone animations, etc.

Alpha Zombies and Infection. And please, no Hivemind.

Flood style from Halo 4 was great.

Standard infection/flood.

Leave the weird variants to custom games.

Zombies should have thrusters in base Infection.

Infection will be so much more fun with certain armor abilities enabled and disabled for certain players.

Duck hunt will need original movement. (You forge -Yoinks!- better get working on Duck Hunt first things first this December)

Standard Infection for Customs with all available features, but I’d like to see an actual Flood mode that plays like Left4Dead or Singularity multiplayer.

I want to be able to choose a combat form, tank form, infection form, etc. and have a more asymmetrical Invasion-style mode.

Standard for matchmaking, zombies need to have a fighting chance lol. In customs id like to see a crazy amount of options, for all game types for that matter.

As you guys have said, an option for no weapon starts would be great, surprised we’ve not had it yet!

Not sure about all the gametypes that were listed. But I only enjoy Zombies when it’s Magnum-only starts and Swords for Zombies with no shields. Maybe also turn off Movement abilites for non-Zombies. Alot of how it plays has to do with the map too and the initial spawns. Most will migrate to open areas so they can shoot down the Zombie before it’s close.

I’ll have a duck hunt fairly early. I’ll be trying to work with the new abilities, might just mean less cover.

I would ike the alpha zombies with campaign type of forged infection maps. Go to zipzapzops hes made infection campaign maps. Or maybe just infection 1 shot kill to the head with a precision weapon but everyone spawns with an ar. all abilities are on, except infected only get sprint and clamber. humans get no radar and infected do. Theres also weapons on the map we can pick up.
