What type of Forerunner are these?

What rate are these Forerunners in the second CEA Terminal?

Spark says they are on a Lifeworker ship but we see a very different design in the Halo 4 Terminals.

Are the ones in the CEA Terminals female maybe?

he also says that life workers are responsible for delivering the monitors to their working stations so they definitely are life workers.
As for the design i think it’s canonically okay as forerunners are a species not just an organization. Life workers might be classified into sub groups or just be donning different costumes or suits.

Apologies I can’t really answer your question. That said, I see what you’re saying about the difference in design, but ultimately I think these differences might be simply an artistic decision. I mean look at how forerunner styles have changed throughout this franchise in games and other media. It would certainly be possible for the design to be interpreted differently between CEA and Halo 4.

Yeah, this is a good way to think about it, at least in order to make sure that inconsistencies remain cannon in the viewer’s eyes.

Their armour can also change its shape at will, so any configuration should be possible.

I think it might also depend on how many times they mutate as well, when they go through their ritual.
