What 'Turkey' pack?

Hey Guys,

So I log-into Halo 5 and I see a message about a free Turkey Req pack. The message says 'Happy Turkey Day. Press Y to open your FREE req pack." Only NOTHING shows up under my packs! Is this a joke? I logged in three times, same message, no pack! What gives with that?

I assume that you mean on-line? If so, nothing shows there either…(Pardon my ignorance : ) )

Hmmm, some thing screwed up here…I rebooted Xbox 1, logged in, selected ‘Y’ for free turkey pack, waited a good minute for data to be retrieved, then in Req store showed ‘voices of war’ req that I already have, but in ‘my packs’ still no ‘Turkey pack!’ Then back in req store ‘voices of war’ pack no longer showed… So guys, no idea…

It should be in your available packs not in the req store section.

Right, exactly! When I select ‘Y’ for the turkey pack I get dropped into the req store. From there I go into ‘my packs’ where I have two gift packs, and no turkey pack! What more then that can I do? I do note a long time in ‘retrieving data’ when I log in…A synch error, perhaps?

I would try a hard reset and see if that does it, if not maybe you missed the log in window for the pack.

maybe you waited too long and its no longer available.

Ya know, the thought that I might have missed the log-in window for the pack never crossed my mind! However, WHY would the pack still be offered if the ‘window’ had already expired? Doesn’t make sense, does it? Indeed just a minute ago, I got the same message for the free pack…; ) !! Heh!! Anyways, I will try the ‘hard reset’ and see what happens…Thanks Guys!!!

P.S. I forgot to mention that I had played Halo 5 around 2 pm (CST) and I saw NO free pack being offered at that time?

OK, 12:14 am CST tried a ‘hard reset’, logged in, STILL see an offer for the Turkey pack, STILL, doesn’t show in ‘my packs!’ So, PERHAPS 343 will send it to me later?, fingers crossed!! Otherwise, no ideas, nothing more for me to try. Gotta be a sync error of some sort…???

If you got it last year, you will not get it this year. To see if you have it just check your emblems for the “Thanks Given” emblem.
