Hey all -
I have played every halo game since halo 2 religiously. I am currently about 100 hours into the game and have completed the campaign, max ranked the battle pass, and am onyx in ranked. I live the gameplay but honestly, playing tabled all night to no reward (progression system) is getting old. The lack of any custom games is also upsetting to me. This discussion is to ask what do you all do to keep the game interesting and fresh?
I just stand in a corner and throw grenades at myself until I die.
Have you got all of the achievements yet? (Apart from medic)
Uninstall and wait for more content is the only correct answer.
^ sadly that is probably right, unless you enjoy mint blitzing your self around the map.
With Halo, 2042, and WZ all currently broken. I have been playing through some old games that have not seen the light of day in years. Just wrapped up KOTOR 1&2. Might take up a new hobby all together this year 
I play on harder difficulties and try new strategies each time. Currently playing around with different combinations of power weapons for the Marines and trying to bring them along on every single open world activity. Hydra, sniper, and M41 Tracker Marines are OP and fun on Legendary.

There’s still the weekly challenges. If any of them are good you can have a look for them.
Perhaps something nice in the store and you fancy adding that so play some games for that.
I think there is a Tactical Ops event at some point.
Honestly I am too old. Weeks and months just fly by for me now so May, even August isn’t really that far away. 
But yeah I can only load up Razorback and do the world tour so many times. There does need to be some sort of ambient quests and frankly just more to do. Co-Op will get me back on as I intend to drag my mate on that so we can do a glorious meme playthrough.
I’m personally playing just for good clips to make a couple of montages I’m working on right now. Funny ones and one about multikills.
There’s always something if you look, but I get that a lot of people would probably get more by playing other games. But Halo is my preferred option and this one is really fun if you let it be.
Go higher in onyx lol. Find new friends to play with and keep improving. But really, there’s 101019292 games out there, find something fun and take breaks.

Work 14-20 hours a day. With my schedule I could not care any less about progression or lack there of. When I get home I want to eat, play a few matches with my kids or watch a show, and then go to bed.
