Just curious as to what time Colony releases EST cause I have class all day tomorrow. Just wondering if I’ll be able to use him before class, or if I have to wait until after.
Someone said earlier, in another thread, that they still haven’t confirmed Colony releasing tomorrow. Something about Microsoft certifications. I don’t have a link to the source for you, but I promise I read it!

No confirmation yet. Sketch said the below on Reddit - so note that the target is tomorrow, but there’s a chance it could be delayed like last month’s update.
Worth noting that last month’s update dropped early on in the day, so hopefully that will be the case this month too!

Yup. There’s a post saying Monday is the expected release date so it might not even be then. No gaurentees

As much as I hate to say it, this is absolutely true. All other DLC for other games nearly have a release date and stick to it. Why have they commited to something they can follow through on?

Remember what game franchise we are talking about. This is Microsoft’s flagship franchise. They don’t want a half -Yoink- attempt at a dlc. I know you guys hate delays but what you fail to comprehend is that they are working to fix all the kinks before its launches.

Because they never actually said it’d release on the 3rd Wednesday rather around?

I’d like to see you develop content for an RTA (an incredibly hard genre to program for), send a copy to the game testers to check for bugs and glitches, not find any before the intended release to the point where the game testers give it a thumbs up, send it into cert testing to release the game, then suddenly the game testers find a game breaking bug during the final stages of cert testing, and suddenly you have to announce that the content has been delayed on such a short notice.
There’s a reason behind every delay.

Yeah, I hadn’t read the update as to why the delay before my post.
I wholeheartedly agree that DLC delays should be encourages if serious issues could be introduced into the game.

The words used in the community updates has been, “We are targeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month.” But in the case of this release, there were some game crippling bugs that were found. Should 343/CA have released the game crippling bugs the conversation would be much different I assume. IE - a lot of hate for 343/CA not taking the time to find said bugs. I think waiting a few extra days for thoroughness on 343/CAs part isn’t the end of the world.
