What the yoink just happened! Ending spoilers

I just beat the campaign, and I have a lot of questions.

  1. What happened with cortana? Did she become metastable or what?

  2. How the hell is Didact going to survive a nuke?

  3. What’s going to happen with chief.

Any explanations would be appreciated.

P.S. I don’t know how to use spoiler tags, so sorry about spoilers.

  1. Well in the end cortana trapped chief in a hardlight bubble to protect him from the nuke. So the general theory going around is that she used the same hard-light to create a solid body for herself.

2.That thing below the hardlight bridge(the onechief and the didact were fighting on)was a slip space portal. So alot are assuming that when the didact fell in, he survived, and justed ended up where ever that portal lead to.

3.As for the chief. Well he seems pretty beaten up at the end, so he’ll probably take some leave before getting back into the fight. Maybe the other spartans from blue team will cheer him up.
