What' the Population of Halo 3?

I have the MCC so I don’t really play my 360 much anymore but I’m just wondering how many people still play Halo 3 on the XB360? I’m thinking not as much with the MCC being out on a new console.

There are quite a few players still playing matchmaking on X360. I don’t play it anymore, but I can firmly say that the players in it are usually really -Yoinking- good. At least it’s good to know that such a 9 year-old game is still played on a 12 year-old console. Halo 3 <3.

I still play Halo 3 but I don’t think “population” is the right term because the number people playing can spike up and down very quickly and might not be stable enough for that term.

I will have to agree with you. One day, I decided to play matchmaking and it had… I think a bit above 1,000 people, but the next day, it was much lower.

Really?
Only 1000+? It still seems low for Halo 3.

Some times it varies. On weekdays it’s around 300, then on weekends it around 1000+. So it’s not entirely dead.

Yes, it’s a really low population for Halo 3, but notice the game is already almost 10 years old on a 12 year-old console. It was also re-released in a game that contains 5 games, including Halo 3, and since it’s running at 60FPS, it might encourage people to leave the 360, buy the XONE, buy MCC and play Halo 3 matchmaking on it. Nothing is eternal unfortunately, but sometimes we just have to accept it.

I still play on 360
Mainly because I can’t afford an 1

Its very low, sometimes there are 300. On weekends it reach only 1000, but sometimes it doesn’t reach it.
