First off, I just wanted to say while the playlists certainly are not exactly what we want, 343i certainly has the RIGHT IDEA. I feel like 343i is definitely learning on the job when it comes to managing the Halo community and the game itself, and they’re off to a good start in my book. Anyways, to the meat of this post. The playlists, with CSR taken into play.
Notes:When I mention Game Set loadouts, I mean loadouts of BR, DMR, and the AR with a Magnum secondary. The DLC required thing is up for debate, I just put it where I thought it should apply.
Ranked-
Team Slayer- 4v4, game set loadouts featuring the AR,BR,&DMR with a Magnum secondary. Static weapon drops, no ordinance.
Lone Wolves- 6/8 players, featuring classic Free For All slayer and objective gametypes with game set loadouts.
Team Doubles- 2v2, featuring game set loadouts and slayer and objective gametypes. DLC Required
Big Team Battle- 8v8, Slayer AND Objective gametypes.(Even though I’m not a huge BTB guy, this is something I’d love to see as the BTB community deserves it.) DLC Required
Team Snipers- Classic 4v4, Snipers only. DLC Required
Team SWAT- 4v4, I guess what it is now. (There would be a huge argument if it became BR or DMR exclusive, and since it has such a high population now, there’s no real reason to mess with it really.) DLC Required
MLG-If MLG comes out and finally makes official gametypes, I feel like this could be a really good playlist.
That’s it for the ranked playlists. We don’t want too many, but I feel like that selection pretty much cover the majority DLC Required
Social-
Infinity Slayer- Now 5v5, the playlist you know today.
Infinity Big Team Skirmish- The playlist as you know today. Slayer, 8v8, Ordinance.
Team Regicide- 4v4, as the current playlist is.
Grifball- 4v4, have fun with your gravity hammers and energy swords ladies and gents.
King of the Hill/ Oddball- 5v5, conjoin the playlists so hopefully both of the populations are brought into this one singular playlists
Flood- 12 people, as it is now.
Extraction- 6v6/5v5
Dominion- 6v6 (A brilliant addition to Halo, by the way. Good job 343i.)
Add in a rotational playlist or two here.
In my opinion, I don’t think it’d be fair to add in a rotational playlist in the ranked playlist category, so let’s keep it social.
