More than likely they played with a “mate”.
And I use “mate” in the loosest possible way… especially if their buddy was the Onyx. Mates are supposed to look out for each other… and at 1 & 16 - nobody was looking out for our poor little Bronze 1.
The number of games I had with Onyx players duoing with a silver or gold friend lol, they’re ruining the matchmaking with lopsided teams.
I hope they update it and weight objective score higher. I’m so tired of going even KDA wise, but having almost all the ball time and zone/flag plays for the game to tell me I didn’t do well 
Know what you mean. I just hope that the bronze1 player was in a fireteam with the gold oder plat player.
But if the bronze player was in a solo search, just to complete a ranked challenge, then i feel sorry.
There should be a minimum point value for a win. Getting 1 CSR, or even losing CSR for a win just shouldn’t be happening.
And I don’t care what some people on these boards are saying, grouping with a low ranked account so you can smurf as an onyx account is cheating. Plain and simple.
But this is the problem.
Beating a team rated below you shouldn’t increase your rank in any way. I mean how could it?
They give you a small bit of CSR as a token of appreciation - but no MMR. But then when they take this borrowed CSR away on your next loss people lose their collective -yoink-.
But the MMR and CSR have to come together eventually.
It would be even worse if they gave out even more CSR for these token wins.
I think they should just man up and not give any CSR on this circumstance.

I’m not sure the Onyx is technically smurfing here.
But yes. They use this manipulation of squads to go on the long streaks you need to push your CSR past 1800. I believe they sometimes even get the low ranker to quit the game if they are losing.
343 really need to limit who can group up. Some sort of range limit.
I’ve lost 1 CSR after a win twice. Both in oddball. Once I was 3:7 KD, but held the ball for all but 12 seconds for my team, and the other time I was 29:20 KD and held the ball for the most time of anyone in the game. It does happen sadly.
