I am nearly finished with my map. It is square shaped with 5 bases; 4 on each corner and 1 in the middle. I have 5 neutral initial spawns and 8 respawn points in each base and they have all the same options. Yet, every time I spawn, it is always in the same base. I tried deleting all the spawn points from it but then it did the same thing with another base. My map along with hours of work are wasted if this isn’t fixed.
Ske7ch, could you please ask Tom French if this is a bug or if I’m just doing something wrong?
I need a solution to this so my map would actually work. Is this happening to anyone else? Does the spawning system favor one area over another for no reason?

If other players are on the map, it’ll affect the spawning. By yourself, don’t expect much variety.

I first discovered this when playtesting with 1 other person and it still does the same thing when by myself.
Yeah. By yourself, the game has no reason to spawn you in any other spot on the map than where it spawned you the first time. But with, say, 4-16 other people on the map crowding potential spawn points, you probably won’t be spawned in the same spot all the time.

I’m not constantly spawning at just a single spawn point though. There are 8 respawn points in 1 area, and I spawn at all 8 in that area, but just that area. I don’t spawn at any other section. Ever. It is always that one area and one area only.
