A lot of the cartographer’s were saying that race is coming, and it just made complete sense that in the Hog Wild update, where they even added a faster rally hog, that race would be included right?

I mean, how could they focus this update all around warthogs, even have a RALLY warthog, and not have race with it?
The more important question is why are you believing these people when 343i never confirmed that Race was coming? The only person who disappointed you was you. Never trust anyone except the developer when it comes to stuff like this.

It would, but 343i never confirmed it was coming. Hopefully they will soon, though.

How long does it take to make a basic race gametype that’s been made previously?

They have to set priorities, you know. Infection was demanded more, so that came first. Warzone Firefight was demanded more, so that’s also coming first. Maybe soon we’ll get Race because people demanded that, too.

Probably this, in addition to the update most likely being big enough already. Of course, it’s easy to not think that with the smaller REQ sheet.
But as much as Race panders to my love for Warthogs, I would have taken Firefight first. We’re also getting a new canvas and (possibly) REQ vehicles/weapons in Forge, so I’m already satisfied with the content here, and eager to hear what else is in on the backend.
Besides, it’s not like the average Halo 5 player appreciates warthogs or mongooses these days. I have a hard time just getting a gunner to gun, or even a team member with a damn flag at times.
Lol core Halo game modes that have been around in previous games? Psh who needs them. Let’s ship with all the hardcore sweaty modes then wait and maybe release some fun game types.
