I havent played Halo: Reach in a couple of days so I decided to play today. Once I go to the main menu a popup is displayed telling me welcome to noble team. This disturbed me a bit because I have no seen that popup since I first got the game.
Once I got into multiplayer my entire armor is reset to default but this is weird part. I still have all the armor I bought; it just says that its new but purchased. So I make my armor the way it used to be and play multiplayer with no problem. I get bored so I go into campaign and see that all the missions have been reset and only mission I can play is the first cutscene of the game.
Im furious because this is the first time it has happened and I refuse to play the campaign over because of some stupid glitch and I want answers. 343 why the hell has this happened?

It was a known problem but it wasn’t a main concern for 343i when they were doing the Title Update, they focused solely on multiplayer aspects and to improve the data the ‘heartbeat’ sends.

This is usually caused by a corrupt save file. Thankfully, important data is stored on back end servers. Only thing your Xbox saves is armor configurations, emblem, and campaign progress.
Campaign is kind of a bummer, but its not like the campaign was that good or anything. You still got your achievements from it so it’s cool.

There are a lot of bugs they knew about like the Gauss hogs shooting through walls and the Assassination animations getting cut short.
But it was all based around making bloom customizable I suppose.
you’re lucky, i had just gotten to captain and that happened to me and it RESET MY WHOLE ENTIRE GAME, armor, rank, credits, at least you got to keep that, i had to restart my game from the beggining, it sucked.

If it was, it would go through all walls, not just specific Forge pieces.
It wasn’t intentional, the Gauss is featured on Headlong Anniversary and doesn’t shoot through the geometry.

Happens to me frequently. It just seems like a server problem so best to just play a few games, it’ll fix itself.
