No, seriously. I was just chilling in a Mantis, and the shields pop. I go to recharge em, and it just gets deleted.
I even had Wheelman on.
What the heck happened to it?

Yup, you have been wasted by the immortal phantom gunner that never misses.
The only place to hide is super far in the tunnel.
I lost countless wraiths to them.

Come to think of it, I remember randomly being killed in a matter of half a second some while ago.
Could have been due to this immortal gunner.

Not even a speeding ghost is safe from them, they are simply OP.

You can destroy them? Last time I checked a shot from a Hannibal scorpion would only scratch the gunner. But, I haven’t played WZFF in ages. Could have been fixed.

I’m not sure if you can but I’m saying if given the option I’d blow them up at the first chance.
