What in the world is the math behind that number? It doesn’t look like any kda spread I’ve ever seen. I am 93/44/38 and it gives me a 6.8…check me if I’m wrong but I don’t think 93+38-44=6.8.
I don’t think it is calculating right currently.

The game may be doing the math wrong, but so are you. A K/D of 6.8 is giving you a ratio, not a communicative equation.
K/D ratio divides your amount of kills by amount of deaths. If you have 98 kills and 44 deaths, your K/D ratio is 2.2.

That’s why it is KDA and not just KD. The “A” is for assists.

That seems to be the case…at first when I saw the decimal point I assumed they meant kda ratio, but then it was negative at one point …

Actually, no. It says “kda SPREAD” now. If it’s a spread, it’s simply a difference. If it was a ratio like normal, then you would be correct.
If it was a simple “spread” then how do you account for the non-integer spreads?
So the number is not a ratio, and not a spread.
I believe its an average of the KDA spread over all your games.
Either that, or its broken
We were trying to figure it out. It might be something along the lines of kills - deaths + assists*(some kind of assist to kill equivalency). Although there was no linear correlation for that last variable.
Edit: I believe I have figured it out, now that the game has launched. It is (kills + assists/3 - deaths)/games played. We all thought it was Kills Deaths Assists spread. It actually stands for Kill Death Average.
It is actually
kills + assists + MEDALS divided by deaths
Its a Beta and something is broken. Better just sell my Xbox and quit gaming for good.
It’s [kills+(assists/2)+medals]/deaths
