343 said that warzone/Assault would have a hidden ranking system that compared REQs and skill level right? please tell me I am not losing it. If there is one, What the Heck!!! what kind of non existing crap is this? I was just joined into a game on array, we were attackers, it was fine for the first 30 seconds before I realized why I was replacing someone who quit, heck, I don’t blame them for quitting this match. The enemy team had 10/12 people from one company, all nearly over 125! Are you kidding me! I am only 69, my teams highest level was 112! What the heck 343!

Now before you say, but SR doesn’t matter, its just a EXP number, NO! it does matter in this, since they are higher, they have a higher chance of having more REQs which equals better REQs which equals there team spitting out Gauss after Gauss, Ultra banshee after Ultra banshee and a Phaeton! This was a mess of no ranking system and Farm killing, heck, we took both the spire and armory because NO ONE was in the bases, they were just killing everyone with Gauss hogs and Ultra Banshees, we were being spawn killed and farmed, and NO, there was no way to counter it!! I made it to REQ 4, there team had to have made it to the max by the end.

I used to defend the system at times, its just social game, or for arena, it doesn’t happen all the time. But this! This is just clear evidence that they have no clue how to make a working system! I love Halo 5, but this just makes me want to put the controller down. This team was not sportsmen like, they are just cheap high level farmers set on getting a piece of digital armor they will most likely never wear. I mean come on, you people ignored the objective to such an extent we almost killed your core in 10 seconds, only when you realized your victims might end your work session early, you decided to actually play the game to an extent, its not like our BRs did anything against the 3 Gausses, Ultra Banshee and dozens of Ultra Ghosts anyways.

343, I am begging you, if don’t want warzone and warzone assault to die off, you need to fix the system, people are leaving warzone because of these types of games, they are happening more and more, companies don’t care about the game, they just want to look cool and say, I may have ruined Halo 5 for many, But hey, at least I have Ancillis now!! you guys need to address this and the many other Warzone issues, or warzone will die. War zone is becoming Destiny’s PVE, people just sit around and farm the heck out of it to get something… that is not fun. I feel bad for those AI now…

Just want to say sorry for the rant, I am very salty due to that game.

yeah the rise of LFG groups (for Achilles) are making it much harder to win games, and then when you lose all they do is farm you in your base… 343 pls ad incentive to destroy the core

Unfortunately spartan companis are just going to run matchmaking for a while, it happens to every game that allows a full team of people to play. But ranks are funny, some say they are hidden, however warzone is social, this means there should be no ranking what so ever. And if there are hidden ranking, what the heck is the point of even calling it social? Hope this helps a little, I understand your frustration, but I say warzone is just fine matching up all different kinds of ranks, spartan companis are the issue.

ya they were, 10 out of 12 were part of the “whiskey” company, at least I think that was the name.

I don’t care rank, but I just think they need something that compares REQs to REQs to give a better playing field for all. I mean, I have been on the other side of this once as well, not in a company, but our team having tons of vehicles, but even then, the other team was equally as good, best game ever…

If competitive Warzone is going to be a thing, there ought to be a ranked playlist for it. Keep a social one for those who enjoy the random silliness of Warzone and give the serious teams a place for them to do their thing.

Yea, I agree. I absolutely dread games were my team slaughters or is slaughtered. In no way are those games injoyable. I want a challenge, and I want it balanced.

My friends have said this, but personally, I don’t think that will keep them out, if anything, companies will see it as a way to get easy farms going. either they need something that checks spartan or puts large groups against large groups.

it was a great game, really showed WAs potential. We had lots of tanks and so did they, Urban has always been my best map, it gives me relaxing games, or great ones like that. it was so crazy, so much crap happening and flying all over the place.

SC Whiskey is a team with a lot of highest ranks players. Mostly all are 140+ lol, probably the reason why you got destroyed.

Back in the day when halo 3 ODST came out, halo 2 had a lot of crazy fun online games. Me and my freind would always call them world war III and so on due to all the crazy stuff that would happen.

Just going to point out, Whiskey was the first company to get Achilles, and of the 100 members in their company, almost half are ranked champion and basically the rest are Onyx. They are one the more top notch companies out there.

I bet it is, technically you could say I am in one, but its just like 5 friends, just for fun. But I think 343 needs to have a check so that things like this don’t happen.

Something like Achilles needed to happen - we needed some kind of armor that you had to unlock by actually doing stuff. And even on paper, having it based on spartan company performance isn’t a bad idea. It’s just the INSANE amount of work required to do so, which leads to farming and ruining of Warzone for those who are playing it for what it is - a crazy social game type…

Great idea, terrible execution.

agreed, we need more armor like this. but not with this kind of unlocking system.

But until they do fix it, there are tons of ways that you can be the solution to your own problem, make an effort to team up with people, its worth it.
