I would usually destroy or steal enemy vehicles to deny them a strong foothold. Sometimes, use a vehicle and then go into enemy territory that will distract them while my teammates move in and get the drop on them.
Just give me a BR (even before weapon tuning) and the enemy will not have a fun time with me in the lobby.
In BTB I would do just what you said.
If I was in throwdown it’s all about strafing and knowing when to run.
Making shots is a given, of course.
Since I usually play Grifball, I spawnkill to win

Wing it out on my own. Going with backup mere feet away is a great way to get killed and give the enemy team a good 2-4 free kills.

I just steal their vehicles. More warthogs for me, lol.
