How fast do you want gameplay to be? Slow, like Reach? Or fast, like some of the other shooters?
Personally, I want the speed to be much, much faster than Reach, but not as fast as games like CoD. Somewhere in betwee.

i will say this though, kill times doesn’t mean the full pace of the game, you can have fast kill times but slow pace, slow kill times but fast pace.
kill times i’d prefer around 1.2 - 1.4 secounds optimal personaly, more shots required the better in this time frame because the extra required accuracy at a fast pace increases the skill gap.

12 - 14 secs kill times? god no, will be extremely frustrating trying to kill that one person …

What an unfortunate decision if it’s true. Halo 3 had a terrible strafe, which Reach continued.
Ridiculously fast. Quake 3 style.
Fast.
In CE, you can take down 20+ Elites while they’re swarming you while fending off Grunts and Jackals simultaneously.
In H3, it’s basically go to a safe spot and get headshots and noob combo.
At least in H2, the noob combo worked better so I could go in close and fight with the H2 pistol. H2 Cairo hangar battles and the bomb room battle both felt fast since the weapons felt responsive.
In Reach, it’s pretty much room to room fighting. An army of Elites means certain death.

Wow I had a hard time understanding what strafe mean’t and I looked it up in the dictionary. “Attacked repeatedly with bombs and machine gun fire from a low flying aircraft.” < I put some of my own words. Halo 3 had a terrible attacked with machine guns repeatedly which reach continued that doesn’t make sense
