What some people around me think of Halo 5

At the moment people around me are saying that 343 has ruined this and runined that. They are saying that introducing a whole other part of the story where you don’t play as mater chief for a portion of halo 5 is ridiculous and is bad for a main stream game. I think that this is a whole load of BS as 343 is opening up a whole different side of the UNSC, a more sinister and corrupt side. People are also saying that the gameplay is now becoming more like COD in is physics. Sadly I would have to agree, 343 in Halo 4 alowed the controler to be able to have Fishstick (COD controls) which is something that people liked, but going to the point of having the ordinary scope design rather that the classic Halo whole screen Scope is ridiculous. One of the main things I like about Halo was its difference and charm. I kind of think that was an oversight of 343. To conclude the story of Halo 5 will be an interesting playthrough, since the inclusion of Spartan Locke from Halo nightfall as well as former ODST Buck. But 343, man that was a big oversight taking away the quirk of Halo, I mean mate will you start releasing on PS4 next?

Halo still has the same Havoc physics engine its always had… If any thing COD has become more like Halo in this regard…

The two games play nothing a like, so the comparisons continue to be nonsense.

Uh oh, I think it’s going to be a thing. You know what I think of OPINIONS?

Cool Story Bro. All People around me, Friends&Family are excited as Heck. They’re all dissapointed that there is no Splitscreen, but except that everyone is excited for Halo 5. One of my Nephews, who were originally a Halo-Fan himself and played a lots of Halo 2/3 consider to buy an XboxOne for Halo 5. Yeah - so - you see. To use your own Experience/Opinions to let it sounds like what you say is an “Fact” (which isn’t the Case) is the wrong way…

Hey, I am totally fine with your negative opinion. You can express it with only one rule…

Shut the -Yoink- up with the cod comparisons. I’ve played the game several times on multiple control schemes and it is in no way like CoD.

Hey I’m not trying to be negative since i’ve only played very little Halo 5 on the MCC Halo 5 demo at a mates place. And the part about the zoom was a friends opion that he had spoken about. But their is no stopping the fact that the physics of CoD is becoming very simmilar since the introduction of (Exo-Suits).

This was just me decifering through what I had said and what friends had said, and their as no meaining for any offense.

I had to train my cousin OUT of cod noob fest mode, to get him to perform well in Halo 4.

COD is nothing like Halo except that they both have guns and you shoot things.

Halo rewards accuracy, strategy, and stability in chaotic environments.
See a guy? What’s his weapon? Where are his team mates? Where are your team mates? Has he spotted you? Were you stealthy? what are your escape routes? Where is your nearest cover.

COD rewards chaos, and reactionary gameplay.
See a guy? Shoot a guy? With what gun? It hardly even matters. As long as you react first and keep flubbering around the map.

These are very different core concepts, and Halo has yet to abandon this. And because these core concepts are very different the games themselves are very different. While it is true Halo tries to allow players to have favourable/diverse guns for their play-style and still compete Halo does still have an archetype of power and strategy revolved around each archetype of weapon.

Edit:
Let’s throw Gears of War into the mix.

Gears rewards territorial occupation, 360 degrees of team covered angles, and cover-based flanking manoeuvres, with some aspects of Halo’s Arena.
See a guy? What’s his weapon? Shoot him, Have your team move into a position to aid with shooting him. Prevent his team from flanking your team. Lock down power weapon rotations by moving your team in an organised fashion. Win the match.

Again, same concept of taking cover, shooting the enemy. and running around. Except because of the cover system and weapon sandbox it’s played very very differently on almost every level.

I am not on about the game play i’m on about the physics (physical movement)

Tell your friends to lay off the pot.

Tell your friends to lay off the pot. = ?

Halo physics are nothing like COD physics. You have to play both game to understand how different they are on this aspect. Halo physics have a floating feeling when you jump and move. The way bullets reach the ennemies is different too.

I’m on about CoD Black Ops 3 and Advanced Warfare physics

Gotta admit. I hardly ever post on the forums but i look at every single post every day at work to either get a laugh or just learn something new (since i didn’t play the beta)
But this post literally forced me to go through the forgot password system and to my email to get the new password JUST to post this.

–OP there is a saying. From what we hear in the world around us, comes truth and in the truth resembles response.
You are turning opinions on a game into facts, but blindly seeing that it is in fact a opinion and not a fact. There is probably 100 posts or so about this COD and HALO reference on every gaming forum currently, and you are simply twisting your person references into what you believe is a fact. Enjoy the game for what it is.

–Regards

Lets just stop the comparisons and wait for the game to come out. 25 more days, stop complaining when you heaven’t felt the final version for yourself yet.

How about… don’t listen to what people say… make your own opinions based on what you see right now. wait for the game to come out and play it and make your own opinions about it… i could care less what my friends have to say about halo… most of them like cod. i don’t care. halo is my go to game.
