Do you think there should be skin options for power weapons?
What would that system look like (tier 3 weapons only, or just one option per weapon ect…)
Would you make unlocking it regular? Or specialized? (commendation, spartan company ect…)
Lastly, (and my favorite) what weapon would you most like a skin on, and what would the skin look like?

Personally, I would like a commendation system for only a few weapons, (laser, sniper, rockets,) where you have to get a certain amount of killing sprees using only this weapon, or double kills or something less generic than regular kills. I think glowing (yes I want moving skins) purple flames on a sniper for 500 sniping sprees would be dope.

So you want something like the Gears 4 skin system? In Gears 4, every gun can have a skin, and it is applied when you pick up said weapon. It isn’t a bad idea, but Halo 5 has way more weapons than Gears, it would really inflate the REQ pool. Most players would hate that unless

They do something like this. And yes, that skin would be pretty dope.
I’ve thought about this idea for gamemodes like Breakout where you spawn with a power weapon, however I think it would screw up the REQ tiers, so you think someone is carrying a Lawgiver, but it’s just a normal Shotgun. Plus, it’s probably not worth it making 10 different weapon skins for every Power Weapon in the game.
Skulls and Roses on a Nornfang would be perfect. Ooo maybe a Landgrave skin for the Oathswarn.
