What should I unlock?

It turns out I have 70+ season points (or whatever they’re called).

I’ve already uplocked all of the Noble and Recon seasons.

Any suggestions on which season to unlock next or items to wait for?

Unlock everything since it won’t be any further update in a while until June 2022

They haven’t got near enough for everything else.

I’d go mainly with the later seasons, since the effort of stuff ramped up over time like the animated visors and back attachments, but it’s up to what you think looks best.
They really need to update the points system though, because it’s gonna be a real slog for players like you to have to rely entirely on the limited weeklies…

Personally I’d got unlock ODST and MK V in halo 4

  • Season 2 if you like visors and skins for CE
  • Season 4 if you like the original Halo 4 skins and new Halo 3 skins
  • Season 5 is good for the Reach DLC armor and H:O Spartan armor
  • Season 6 is Fireteam Raven & H:O Tron armor, as well as animated visors
  • Season 7 is good for the Halo 4 DLC armor and H:O Elite armor, as well as mcfarlane skins for Halo 4
  • Season 8 if you liked guild wars 2

Or just hold onto points and wait for new Exchange rotations. There are supposedly more armor sets planned for Reach, 3, and possibly 2A, but aside from Operator and Spectrum in Halo 3’s season 5 trailer (alongside the datamined files from back then), nobody knows what other stuff there might still be.

Thank you for the thorough breakdown.

I’d hold on to them for more Reach sets for sure (if we knew they were for sure)

I’m leaning towards Season 5 or 7 (I think I’ve unlocked some of 5 already too)

There’s no need to unlock anything at all. None of any of it actually does anything in-game. I have about 500 of those points and haven’t used them yet and have no problem at all winning games. You can safely ignore them.

You can alternatively not ignore them, and instead use them for their intended purpose as was originally mentioned.

Hold on, I do not need to spend these points to have fun. Why was I not told this sooner?

If you like weapon skins and visors go reclaimer, I’m pretty sure that’s all the season is. If you like the 343 armor go anvil. If you like ODSTs go raven. If you like playable elites go swords. If you like mythological stuff go uhhh, eighth season… I forgot what it was called.

I would begin unlock item number one and spend all of those points to unlock the items across each of the Halo games.

The intended purpose is what exactly? How will any of it help the player at all?

Back pretending again eh? No need to scroll up to see the answer you’re pretending to be seeking:

Wait, they confirmed the update was going to be on June?

Not confirmed. Next update is still TBA.

We’ve been in season 8 for a while now, so by all means, spend them on what you find interesting. We do not know what will come next, so waiting out is pointless if you ask me.

Personally, I am focusing on unlocking stuff in season 8. I really like these medieval armors.

I’m leaning towards 8, too. I kind of want the plague doctor mask - though I’d probably never equip it.

If I could unlock them by game that would be perfect. (I get why I can’t and I don’t necessarily think I should be able to.)

for me, you should unlock season 1 first, than the two seasons that are only 50 tiers, since you’ll be able to get through those seasons quicker. after that, it’s really up to personal preference

I’ve done the first one (Reach is my favourite) and I’ve done the ODST one (recon). There are a bunch of things in there that cost 2 points. I’ve never done the math but always assumed it just worked out to 100 points for those seasons too.

Thanks for the tip.
