What should I forget from Halo 4 before playing MP

I need my mind to be in shape for online matchmaking…
I know there’s no loadouts, ordinances, etc, but what about gameplay?
overall speed?
aim assist?
easier to kill someone?
harder to die?
grenade “bouncibility”?
any other input is much appreciated!

I’d say just play it and experience it for yourself.

Aim assist is nearly gone, grenades FLY! and bounce a decent amount more along the lines of halo 3. You can die really fast if team shot and 1v1’s are still about the same. Pistol is your go to weapon right off the bat (if you’re accurate). Don’t expect many weapon pickups in arena.

I hear the pistol is the bee’s knees. Is there a point to pick up a BR or DMR then?

word. Aren’t the maps in Arena smaller though too? Was Halo 4’s radar 30 meters?

the radar is practically useless in H5… with increased movement speed and such, the only time you even get a radar blip is when they are 3 feet in front of you and spartan charging

The maps are a good size. The pistol is good if you are in range but against a said br,dmr,lr you are screwed. I absolutely love the br but can barely get my hands on it due to not enough weapon placements.

Yeah the maps are smaller too, but you’re still fast as hell with all the movement options. Sometimes nothings on your radar and a second later your being smacked around

I’d probably say nearly everything. pretty much everything has been overhauled.
