What Should Halo Infinite's Cover Art be?

In a world of digitally downloading games rather than buying a box with a disc inside, we all remember that every box had a cover that stood out and caught your attention.
Since Xbox and other companies are still using covers to market to gamers, what do you think Halo Infinite should look like?

We don’t know what the plot of Halo Infinite exactly is, but we know some components that will be involved in the game. So what should the cover art be?
To get some insight over the previous cover arts for the other games I’ve compiled a series of links showing what each one looked like to see what you prefer best!
(I’m showing the ones that only feature Master Chief primarily because he is said to be the focus of the game this time around.)

Now since I’m one for nostalgia, I really like this fan-made cover art for Halo Infinite.

It’s basically a recreation of Halo 1’s cover art and I think that would make a great stamp for going back to it’s roots. I think it would work best since we know he’s back on a Halo ring and maybe they could make their own additions while paying respect to the game that started it all. What do you think? Is there elements from the other cover art that you’d like to see incorporated into the cover of Halo Infinite?

I say go for something different. Break the trend. Give us something more than the individual protagonist filling most of the frame in a lame pose. Make it more like a movie poster with multiple characters. Make it a candid action scene based on the gameplay. Take the simplistic Elder-Scrolls route and give us a logo with nothing more; less is more. Experiment with something new. Stand out from the rest!

Hopefully something similar to CE’s boxart or DOOM’s reversable cover.

Here’s a list of images for inspiration in relation to what I was talking about:

What I’d like to see is something simple and serene with no characters. Like, I’d be fine with some variation on the trailer end shot.

The last thing I want to see is something with Master Chief that’s trying to look too gritty or tough (see: any modern shooter cover from the past decade, Halo CE or 5 cover, even Halo 4 and 2). I know that realstically it’s going to include Master Chief with an Assault Rifle looking into the distance, either in the center or at the left hand side (but not the right hand side), probably with the ring in the background just going by the trailer. If I’m saved from a cover that’s trying too hard to look cool, then Master Chief’s going to have a calm pose with the AR either resting against his shoulder like in the Halo 3 E3 2006 trailer (which would be a new one for a Halo cover), or just lowered like on the Halo 3 cover.

That fan art looks really cool but I think it’s a bit too close to CE. I’d like that scenery shot of the Halo ring with the mountains in the front.

That’s sort of a cross between the “simplistic” and “landscape” designs I referred to. I agree with you. That’s pretty much what I’d like to see for Infinite. You can’t get more Halo than the ring itself. I really hope it’s not just the Chief posing again like Halos 1, 2, 3 and 4.

I like some of the old school movie posters, like Blade Runner, and Star Wars. The multiple character shot, maybe the main antagonist in the background, enlarged. Or like the last two Mission Impossible movie posters. Characters on the left, some action shot on the right. Something like that.
Just my thoughts

They should do the same thing they have been following for the last few games, Chief must be on the cover. He should also be center piece of the cover like Halo 1-4’s covers, its simple and it makes it clear who the game is focusing on.

I’m gonna be referencing the Assassin’s Creed Origins box art. The box art should be Chief looking at the Halo ring’s horizon (like the one at the end of the Infinite trailer). Chief is holding the assault rifle in one hand and an A.I chip in the other. The Chief’s back is facing us and we also see the wildlife, the forerunner towers that shoot those beams (forgot the name), and the marines and possibly the SoS battling the Covenants and maybe the Promeathians
