For me it’s BTB and other server fixes as well. It needs to work properly because we pile more on top of it. BTB was working fine until they added the additional playlists. I don’t want to see what breaks when they do that again before getting to the bottom of the issue.
What we need to keep in mind though is that some things will hit the same teams, while others can progress in parallel. For example: stuff that needs to be added to the engine likely has some dependency on each other. However people working on customization stuff can do that in parallel as they’re working in a separate modelling tool. Store prices obviously are another area that doesn’t require any technical input - that’s a policy decision → different people.
I actually think the player collision ties in to the desync issue and makes it worse particularly for the broken melee mechanic. If you think about it, we have complaints about one hit melee from the front…my take on this is that it is due to player collision so you are hitting through to the rear hit box causing an instant kill backslap, and this exaggerated by the desync. Similarly, melees from behind that don’t instant kill are hitting the front hit box so aren’t registering correctly. My theory may well be totally wrong but the bottom line is that both issues need to be addressed and resolved.
