So I think it’s pretty clear the next Halo game will be Halo 6. Although we haven’t had much Halo news since Halo Wars 2, there are rumors that always make us wanting more.
However, instead of focusing on the TV show that is in the works, or the next game which is Halo 6, I want to know what do you guys want as the next Halo game after 6?
Some ideas Id like to see are:
- Open World Halo game where we can explore the Halo Universe. - Horror game with the Flood. Could be a survival game of some sort. - A game where you don’t play as a Spartan, or ODST. Playing as a regular Marine would be an interesting point of view. Something gritty, similar Reach. - A game from the point of view of the Covenant, similar to playing as the Arbiter in Halo 2. - A Halo Space game. Taking control of UNSC or Covenant ships could be amazing if done correctly.These are just some of my ideas. Id love to hear what you guys have to say! Any ideas I missed? Expand on my ideas?

Can be a kind of RPG or something like that… Such as Warframe.

I’d like an open world game like Skyrim in space or something similar.
A flood horor themed game. Could be similar to ODST but needs to be dark (not kiddy) like CE and Reach.

I want the next game after Halo 6 to be Halo 7, where the story of Master Chief continues

Yeah, that’d be cool.
I would want a much more gritty and mature game. Alien Isolation is a good example of a sci-fi horror game that I think would be role model for a halo horror game.

Point of view if the covenant would be the only thing I would want them to do after halo 6
I’d love to see a story-focused adventure game where the player is a kid who is inducted into the SPARTAN-II program. Players would experience the program firsthand, training, augmentation, growing up with the members of Blue Team, going on missions, and so on.

I remember playing all the Halo games as a kid. The parts with the Flood were terrifying…
