I have something that should be in Halo 4 theme, tell us what you think?
As much as I love that song, I’m pretty sure the Monks will be returning.
It’s a good song, but the original Halo theme with the monks still needs to be the main focus of the music.

Whilst I’m sure Led Zeppelin would be open to 343i sampling it, I’d be worried that the song is already too closely associated with other things. It was used in the Matrix and Godzilla movies as well as the X-Factor soundtrack and it’s been sampled or covered by about a 1000 different artists.
I would be open to getting some rock acts in to do original music like Breaking Benjamin and Incubus in Halo 2 though.

Well, really, “nothing” will be Halo’s new trilogy theme song.
It must still be orchestrated (created), but the music designer did say that he would respect Halo f"or what it is, and simply make a “remix”, of sorts, for the new trilogy.
So they will most likely keep the Male Orchestra, or “monks” as most say, in the new theme.
