Overall i just want this game to be like halo 3 or 2 in a sense with better hit boxes or hit detection i need a ranking system (50 system) so people have a need to play halo. Its what made it addicting i don’t want arena ranks, they’re boring and don’t mean anything but how well you play alone. It doesn’t show your teamwork or how much you care for the win. I personally don’t like reach but i love what you guys are helping for MLG make MLG’s biggest title have its comeback in Halo 4. Make it to where this game is so good it sells out in two days of team passes being released i want it to have more people who play it like its a mainstream game not because its the newest thing out like cod, but because they actually love the game and its what they really love about gaming. I want that feel that when i come home from school im itching with excitement to finish my homework and hop on with some friends and dominate MM. I want those late nights you play halo and have non stop fun with freinds. I want that addicting game that has good memories even as an adult. Halo 3 and halo 2 had all of this halo. Reach died and i had a lot of hope for this game. I still play it but i just want the classic feel back so please make Halo 4 what it should be, not what you think will make sells. You have more halo fans from previous Halos than you do with reach and a lot of them went in the dark and play nothing but CoD or some random game. Make these fans come back, make them love Halo once more. A lot of the original Halo players that grew up with this game aren’t the ones that want you to do things with Halo 4 half don’t even know you have this website because they drifted away because of the lack of wanting to play Reach. Just make halo 4 the way all the other Halos were made and keep a ranking system and know who the real fans of halo are not the new generation of armor lock kids and kids who love Reach over everything. I keep ranting about the same thing in this so please just bring back halo to the way it was and make sure that we have our game back come holiday season. We have faith that you will do us good thanks if you guys read all of this <3

343 has a lot to prove to the Halo community. I really hope they put out a quality game instead of just putting out something that they now they will get a descent return off of because of the name.

I will start off by saying that I completely disagree with almost everything said in this thread.

To start of I would like to point out (and I don’t mean to be rude in any way) is that what you have said is that you like halo 2 and three and more or less want halo 4 to be halo 3 with better graphics and more maps which is exactly what CoD is. Call of Duty ore or less improves there graphics and adds new maps every game which you said you want from halo, but you also stated that you do not want halo to do what CoD does.

I do agree that halo reach had many failings and we definitely don’t need a repeat of that, but we also need something new, something that has been thought through and had the crap tested out of it. What I believe is that we need a new game, perhaps unlike anything seen before, but also creates the feeling in halo 2 and 3 where we could do what you said about having endless fun without the gaming having so many failings.

no what i said i want is halo not some cod/shadowrun knock off with halo on it. halo is original and deserves to stay the way its meant to be but i noticed some reach fans are going to think armor lock and stuff should be in h4 which is dumb.

I agree with everything you’re saying, I’ve had so many good memories on H3 with my friends and the community… Reach sucks in comparison.
