What should be done in Halo 5

Here are a few things that should be done in Halo 5
Keep Sprint
Smaller maps, the maps in H4 were way to big.
More vechicle play. In Halo 3 the vechicles were the must have weapon on the field.
Keep loadouts but make it where when you level up then you can add different weapons to your loadout.
Make the actual armor you put on your spartan to something. Like if I put a bigger shoulder pad on, it will deflect a percentage of being hit. example
Smaller maps, yes I said it twice. But with maps in H4 everyone just camped with the DMR. Sit across the map and they would just shoot.
Get rid of DMR
A Prestige mode like COD.
Be able to pick up grenades from dead enemies instead of having a stupid perk.
Better “perks” for your spartan.

Maybe as an AA?

They did this already. Some weapons weren’t available when you first started out. In addition to this, “Spartan Points” allowed you to purchase the weapon you want so long as you have it unlocked.

But this is Halo, everyone is supposed to have the same health/shields/armor strength.

No, this weapon is here to stay.

I hope this is a bad joke. I know many people seem to want more ranks, but CoD style prestige is a no no.

Having perks is annoying enough, but having “better” perks is pushing too far. What do you mean? Like health vampirism? Juggernaut? Those are perks in other games. Halo is supposed to be about player skill, not who’s played the longest or has the best perk or gun or power. All of those things are like skill compensators that make up for your inability to play a balanced sandbox.

I hope this is a joke. Also, I wish to direct you here to discuss Halo 5.

Most of this made me consider somehow burning your ideas (and possibly you) in some kind of fire. Sprint was OK as an AA.

u should be able to take control of the gun on the warthog from the driver seat, say you have an npc in the back. you know his gonna go for the little grunt runing away even though it stands a hunter to his left aiming at you, if you could swap the camera arow with a crosshair u could point it at the hunter and pull the trigger and the npc would fire at him instead, when u lett go he continues to fire on other enemies by himself, also it would be nice to have some basic commands to give npc`s. like attack same enemy , holdt , follow etc

Again, we all (OP) included need to stop speaking for others and simply state what we personally want.

DMRs staying it can be balanced

Map design is to blame only just, for DMR spam if anything bigger maps are needed since BTB is a bit to enclosed in certain spots

Hell no i dont want any prestige BS

Armour affecting gameplay ruins loads of games with certain people having to look a certain way that it allows them to even play well

Perks where good in H4 because they were subtle and didnt allow you to jump 5000ft and go ‘nah screw logic’

Anti grenade pickup is to stop nade spamming (which you wouldnt know about in reach)

May I ask do you play COD (half of body cells turn cancerous) and is halo 4 your first halo if so then i believe you should rethink what your saying

Never blame map design because of a bad sandbox. The DMR would be okey if it had the same range as the other weapons.
