its one of my go to playlists and for the last 3 weeks I haven’t been able to find a match. I match up in literally every other playlist, and I also see many players on my friends list in assault matches. Is this seriously an mmr thing? Cuz when I join them we find a match no problem… solo queue? Nope. I’m not even that good. If its mmr… for the love of anything 343… lighten up. No reason that I shouldn’t be allowed to play a game type because of mmr. That’s absurd. And it isn’t an internet thing. Nor do I buy the population excuse either. As I said I find matches outside of assault no problem and I see many people on my friends list in assault. Anyone??
WZA has been an issue for me as well. Kinda has gotten to the point that I don’t even bother trying to look for games in the playlist. Pity since it is the closest we have to Invasion (aka best Halo gamemode, ever) in Halo 5.
Haven’t been able to get a match for 2 days and usually it doesn’t take longer than a minute or two very frustrating as I love this game mode
It has a really low population there might even be more players playing FFA. Try searching on expanded.
I’ve been experiencing the same problem for weeks now, and I’m searching at “peak” times. I can’t believe the population is that low in the playlist, not sure what the deal is.
It’s more than likely that the population closest to your mmr is lower so the game is having trouble finding players similar to your skill level. I am having trouble finding matches as well. When I do find matches, I recognize most of the players pretty much every game, because it’s always the same people
WZA has such a small population and MMR is so tight, its very hard to find matches. I find I have the best luck searching with 2 to 4 players. Also keep in mind if your MMR group gets in a match, you’ll probably have to wait until the match ends for you to get back in, which can be over 15 mins.
You could also get a big team and try to match another big team if it’s searching…you will…
I’ve been searching on expanded for the last year with H5s bogus search methods. I sacrifice matching similar skill level and connection just to play the game. It’s been almost 2 weeks of no matches. I used to get them in a couple seconds. I can’t believe population is the legitimate problem and that it would drop that much over night. I could hop on Reach on the 360 which probably has less than 10,000 players and find a match before I finish taking a piss. 343 just needs to open up the field. It’s that simple. I don’t want to be forced to search playlists I don’t enjoy just because kids cry about playing a game or two against sweaties, forcing 343s hand to tighten up mmr.
I guess I’m just really sad that H5 has been so disappointing lately. Very little variety on constant rotation with tight mmr searches. It’s too political.

I still find assault games all the time. But I almost always have to play against the sweaties. I keep telling halo that I’m terrible at the game but halo never listens. No more easy games ever

Takes me 20 minutes to find a match in Reach. And thats on BTB, which usually has like, a thousand people playing it at least. Peak times.
