What’s up with the ultimate challenge this week?

lol sorry, but I absolutely hate what they did for the ultimate challenge this week. Getting killjoys in fiesta is a terrible task. Not only is it hard (it’s supposed to be) but it doesn’t even require ANY skill. It just encourages teams to play bad on purpose so they can get the challenge done. It’s frustrating as a competitor. It’s just not fun to have teams tank on purpose for this challenge. It’s supposed to be something that takes some kind of skill to do. Maybe I’m just complaining too much about it, but I’ve also seen others that feel the same.

Literally the only way I got killjoys for that challenge was when my team was getting destroyed and I managed to get the kills. If my team was doing good, I didn’t get a single one. Intentionally doing bad to just get a challenge is just backwards on how challenges should be approached.

I had a team where I had two people quit and the last guy was ranked below the bots. Got 4 killjoys that game.

After hours of playing without getting a single killjoy (i already had 2, so i only needed 1 more) i finaly completed my ultimate challenge. Typically enough i even got 2 killjoys in that match… Relieved i finaly got it done, but now i’m completely done with Infinite for the rest of this week. Not gonna play anymore untill the new challenges start, i need some time of from the game after this horrible experience.

Nice. And what was the score?

I really think this is common.
Last weeks after having completed the weeklies, I’ve got one or two days left to play “normally”, and I just can’t because of a minor burn out. Would be nice to see a population chart for each week.

Got 3 Killjoys to get this evening …

Completely agree, I don’t enjoy chasing the challenges due to their nature so when I finally get them I just stop playing for the week because I’ve had enough.

yep, horrendous decision. nothing like grinding some of these challenges out only to have a near-impossible challenge to unlock the reward. 100% luck based, you have to hope the other team is good (but not TOO good), but also you have to happen to be the guy that ends a spree and not a teammate.
