TY 343i my hats off to you all and your entire team.

This is not halo I don’t know what this game is anymore. I know one thing for sure! In two weeks its already taking dust quicker than I can unplug my controller. And for all those players on here trying to sell ice for to an Eskimo nice job. I have played worse games longer than this brand new failure. The game is a beta and not a very good one either. If 343 Industries don’t fix this game, keep watching the population drop. Servers did not crash they might have been turned off because of all the -Yoink- hitting the fans. Hey just saying.
If you have never started played Halo from any listed here, please keep your voice down because you will never understand what is the true meaning and essence of halo. That is why I asked for the loyal true seeds of halo player to speak up.
Loyal true long time players of halo speak up now. Take back what is yours. And for all those bashing the community you also bashing yourself. The community represents everyone on here you, fan boys, loyal players, haters, lovers like it or not.

They forgot what halo was known for. First halo was the game to copy now instead halo is the game to copy other games! Halo was unique,fun and great. I mean look why can’t halo 4 have a visible skill rank system!

This is why I stick to bungie forums no fanboys well not a ton who praise 343I and worship them! You spoke out OP. I’m only here cuz i’m banned from there for a while!

Really, stop with the whole insert which game i started with in the series, it’s -Yoinking!- old and doesn’t lend any support to your arguments. I’ve played since CE too but you know what? Big -Yoinking!- deal.

To act as though Halo Wars was a bad game lol. Sure, it was MS milking the series (no really, you should type in google Bungie didn’t want Halo Wars to exist) but it turned out to be pretty good for a RTS on the consoles (which usually fail hard).

Now on to the good stuff, yeah without the yelling. I am enjoying Halo 4 but at the same time, i feel as though more effort was put into the Campaign and Spops while the MP was just thrown in. You mean to tell me the Bolshot glitch (hell, the Boltshot itself), Complex/Rag level phasing (fixed now but still), the instant respawning which breaks the spawn system (again, i love Halo 4 but it is NOT fun when the enemy team spawns behind you instantly) and few other things got past testing? Must be hiring soccer moms to do play testing now for Halo’s MP.

This is coming from someone who doesn’t like Halo Reach all that much either. That game had it’s own slew of BS i dare not mention here but i am not going to lie; it was more polished at a functional level. Balance, mechanics, and maps were total trash but Campaign and FF (before it got old) w/Forge/customs is was good.

343 has proven they can implement solid shooting mechanics. I don’t remember a Halo game having this much consistency since…forever (yeah that’s right, Halo 3 was crap with it’s non hit scan crappy netcode) though it’s balance in weapons and other systems need to be reworked badly with buffs/nerfs/patches to add further UI functionality (aka more custom game options). Oh and more Forge maps too, it be waste not to add them since we have three maps dedicated to them out of the box.

Sadly, the solid core is offset by too much randomness (randomness is good but not the level we are seeing with instant re-spawning and ordnance drops). I don’t mind the flashyness so much as i think it’s cool we can call in our own drops…until i get screwed over by RNG.

So in essence, enjoyable to fault.

Agreed, this game is a hot mess. Sort of like a drunken prom date. The potential is there; pretty, smells nice, but overall has no clue!
I will wait a month and try again.

Dude, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Did you ever play H:CE? I remember playing it on PC for YEARS back in the day. Do you remember having to lead people because of the latency? The old 3sk pistol? I remember all of it, and loved it.

Halo has evolved perfectly over time. It’s 2012, and what you’re asking for is from back in 2003. Don’t even try to tell me that I “started Halo at Reach” because I’ve played every Halo game, and every single one added and refined things, which is exactly what H4 has done. So just stop the hate…

The scary thing is that’s what it seem’s. Bungie was made out like reach was rushed but 343i messed up big time with halo 4.

I too meet all your requirements, and I TOO love this game. I’m tired of everyone on here thinking that just because they hate the game, that everyone else needs too. That only the players who hate the game, are the ones whos opinons matter. Its getting old. Some need to realize that some will like the game, and some won’t. I too have played just about every halo game (I havent played Halo Wars or ODST). Heck, the only complaints I have so far has to do with Forge, and the lack of multiplayer maps/the same maps getting choosen all the time.

I’m a loyal halo player and fan, and I’ll voice my opinion. This game is not as bad as everyone is making it to be. There are glitches, sure, BUT IT WILL TAKE TIME TO FIX. 2-3 weeks is sometimes not long enough. I love this game, and I won’t let anyone else make me belive otherwise.

I’ve also gotten to the point where Im used to broken and unfinished games. The only way this will change is by people not buying anymore games (which wont happen), so you might as well just get used to it also, because its not going to change.

When you make obscure, condescending statements like that, anyone with a brain cells will miss your point.

But please, explain anyways. I am fairly curious as i am no blind fanboy and see the obvious problems in Halo 4.

Otherwise, i am just going to pass this off as another THC thread on Waypoint, throwing rocks at people to stir up a -Yoink!-. Sucks what happened with Lemon though, depressing -Yoink- really.

Mother of god youre my new best friend. And for the record, halo reachs multiplayer, gayier than -Yoink!-. All anyone Played was swat. Inveasion was disgusting as hell. Reachs Armor was ugly And bulky, not in a good way, but in A " hey guise Ima Firdge." kinda way. So pipe down and play the -Yoink- game.
Oh BTW. The latency lead, was bad. Like REAL BAD.

I respect your right to express your opinion, but this post is atrocious and disrespectful. I started playing Halo in my teens and I cannot believe how rude you are being.

For one, I am part of the “loyal seeds” of Halo players and I am mostly pleased with Halo 4. The campaign is the greatest one in years. Multiplayer is great, despite some serious attention needed to Custom Games. And most of all, it still feels like Halo and I’m quite pleased with most changes.

Acting like you speak for the entire community is egotistical and asinine. And saying that players that started with Reach or 4 don’t have a say in this, is also quite wrong. You have very clear options if you don’t want to play Halo 4.

343i isn’t perfect but they made in my opinion, the best Halo game this gen. Don’t like it? Leave. The community would be better if you left for the Bungie forums.

And your blatant disrespect for both new and old Halo players is abhorrent. Please gain some social skills before you go make another ignorant post.

agreed i was on these forums 4 days after it came out saying the same thing… but i got trolled out of my thread by immature kids that were loving this game for some reason…

ive already stopped playing… i havent played this game in a week… maybe ill try it again if a mlg playlist comes out, maybe mlg can fix it but until then imma be on black ops 2… dont get me wrong i love halo been playin since CE and i much prefer to play halo over cod but h4 isnt halo and black ops is by far the better game of the two…

how old are you? it seems common sense to me that you cannot voice your opinion about a game being better than the ones before it if you havent played the ones before it…
