I’m cutting this short but I really wonder about this. I hang with tons of halo fans on Xbox. Too many actually lol! But some people have been talking about how much money 343i is spending to produce the game. Some say thousands, some say millions, HECK A 10 YEAR OLD SAID BILLIONS LOL! after always hearing discussions with people on Xbox it’s In my head now and I’m a listener. I don’t talk that much. I say a few things then and there but other than that I’m quiet. It’s November 30th 2019 and it’s already evening so it’s practically December. And they released the trailer in June 11th my b-day. So I have thought about This question for practically half a year. It’s still in my head even to this day. If anyone has any ideas feel free to comment. LONG LIVE HALO!
$500 million is what I heard but I don’t know how legit that is.

WHAT!?! Dang that is a massive amount!
thank you for the comment tacymist!
I hope they spend whatever it takes to make Halo Infinite fire on all cylinders right out the gate. A delayed content release like 5 will hurt too much and a sub par campaign will do the same.
AAA games like these can get into the hundreds of millions now. With two extra years of development time and a brand new engine, there’s rumors that Infinite is costing around 500 million. Mind you a lot of a game’s cost goes into marketing but yeah, these types of games are expensive as -Yoink- to make.

It’s realistic enough. Huge chunk of the budget went into the new engine, and the sound design team really seems to be unfolding wild tech to make the sounds (such as recording Xbox sounds with special mics). And ofcourse there is alot of work overall going into the elements we all have been wishing for, to be fixed and improved.

I love how you used yoink, makes my think of reach if you steal a teammates assassination kill lol! But yes, many games here in 2019 soon to be 2020 are that expensive! Thx for the comment!
